In a shocking incident a group of CPM workers issues death threat to RK Premdas at Parapparam in Pinarayi. Premdas is the Chief election agent of BJP Pinarayi division candidate,V Manivarnan.

The group destroyed the decorations made by the BJP workers and hurled abuses in front of the house of RK Premdas who is a retired Agriculture officer with the Kerala government. The CPM men were provoked following the door to door campaing organized by the BJP in the red bastion of Pinarayi which has been hitherto unheard of.

BJP candidate from Pinarayi division ,V Manivarnan said that the CPM is resorting to muscle power following the BJP entering into the red fort of the party which is the native place of the Chief minister of Kerala. He said that the BJP workers cannot be cowed down by such threats and said that CPM is a fasicst organisation without any respect for democracy and democratic ethics.

BJP leadership has already registered complaints with the Pinarayi police station on the death threats issued by the CPM.
