Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti & Vidya Bharti celebrate the Accession Day in Jammu & Kashmir

Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti Jammu Kashmir (Regd.) the largest NGO of education in the UT of J&K & state unit of Vidya Bharti organized the programme in all schools to celebrate the accession day. The main programme was held at Ambphalla, the state head office of the society in which Sh. Pradeep Kumar Ji Sangathan Mantri highlighted the main aim of the celebration of accession day. The programme was presided over by Sh. Ved Bhushan Sharma, President of the society and all the working committee members, were present on occasion.
Main speaker Sh. Pradeep Kumar said on the occasion that this day is the important day in the history of J&K as on this day the then Maharaja Hari Singh Ji Signed the instrument of an accession under Indian Independence day ACT of 1946 on October 26, 1947, and J&K became part India. He said he was the only person legally, morally and constitutionally authorized to do such an important job. He said that accession day is celebrated thought the UT’s of Ladakh & J&K along with the whole nation as a remembrance of defining millennia-old relation of Jammu Kashmir with rest of the country in modern constitutionally and legally framework and historically, morally and ethically this relation has always and will remain steeled fact. On this occasion, the great sacrifice of Colonel Ranjit Roy, Brigadier Rajinder Singh & Major Somnath Sharma was remembered, and floral tributes were paid to them as savours of Jammu and Kashmir. All across the UT, the programme was held in BVM Schools Palmar, Kishtwar, Paddar, Dacchan, Bhaderwah, Doda, Ramban, Udhampur, Reasi, Katra, Jammu, Rajouri, Hiranagar, Samba, Billawar Basholi, Ladakh, Zanskar etc. in which the martyr family where honoured Shobha yatras organized, digital and printed accession day posters distributed to make the people aware and feel proud about this historically day. And also commitment regarding the reunion/merger of the illegally occupied part of Jammu Kashmir by Pakistan and China.
Flag of the whole J&K was shown and placed with pride and dignity in all villages and towns of UT and people were made aware of the parliament resolution February 22, 1994.
Due to covid-19 pandemic guidelines, the programme was celebrated in small groups, and it was decided that in future / every year this day will be celebrated in future with the support of the public in an enthusiastic manner because this day has come after 73 years of our independence and protracted struggle.
