Bihar: Villagers handed over 6 persons in Pandari village, Bodh Gaya to the police. Locals alleged that they were luring poor Dalits and backward castes to convert and believe in Christianity.

According to sources, half a dozen people boarded a bolero from Bodh Gaya in Bihar and went to Pandari village and was trying to lure people of Dalit and backward castes for conversion and believing in Christianity. After getting a clue of conversion, the villagers shared the information with Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal volunteers.

The volunteers along with the villagers caught the soul-harvesters who were in Pandari village for the religious conversion. The Police station in-charge of Hunterganj took them to the police station for questioning.

In recent times it was found that the conversion gang was very active and a mass drive to convert the people of Dalit community and backward class to Christianity is going on in Bihar, due to which there is anger among the villagers.

The villagers alleged that they had made complaints regarding the conversion many times. Still, no action has been taken by the police, due to which there is a large number of religious conversion of people into Christianity in Bihar.
