The world-famous Matterhorn mountain in Switzerland which is one of the acclaimed peaks for mountaineers in the world lit up with a projection of the Indian flag yesterday. Created by Swiss light artist, Gerry Hofstetter, the Indian Flag projection was beamed on the mountain peak to extend a message of hope and positivity, say reports.
Amidst the Corona virus pandemic, Switzerland is illuminating the famous peak every night between sunset and 11PM with messages to convey hope, solidarity, and thankyou to show their support to countries around the world and the people fighting on the frontlines of the coronavirus pandemic.
Over the past couple of days, artist Hofstetter has projected the flags of the US, UK, Germany, Japan, Spain and Portugal.
