Silent march against brutal murder of Ratan Lal and Ankit Sharma in Delhi today

‘Youth Against Jihadi Violence’ is organising a silent march in a tribute to the martyrs of Jihadi violence Ankit Sharma and Ratan Lal. The march which will start at 5PM from Kerala House in Jantar Mantar will end at Delhi Police HQ on Ashoka Road.
IB officer Ankit Sharma was brutally hacked to death by Jihadi mob on 25th February. His family had blamed AAP leader Tahir Hussain for the tragic murder. His body was found a day after the search operation was launched by the police and fire department. Stones were being pelted from the top of the building belonging to AAP leader Tahir Hussain when Ankit was on the ground. Eye-witesses say that Ankit was dragged inside along with few others. Whil Ankit’s body was found brutally hacked a day later, the condition and identity of others is not yet known.
On 24th February, Delhi Police Head Constable Ratan Lal who suffered critical head injuries after stone pelting by a murderous mob in Jaffarabad later died in a hospital. He was at the anti-CAA protest site when the so-called protesters started to pelt stones which injured many. Ratan Lal who was rushed to the hospital could not be saved.
The violent mobs made up of Islamists have set parts of Delhi on fire. Petrol pumps were burnt down and they have also targeted several Hindu homes. There are reports of several rounds of bullets fired on policeman from the mob. Role of outsiders is being investigated by the police and intelligence.
