Indore: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and Samajik Samarasata Manch jointly organised a lecture on the Nirvan Diwas of Babasaheb Amebdkar on December 6. Delivering the lecture, RSS Sahsarkaryavah Dr Krishna Gopal said Babasaheb repeatedly stressed that we cannot curb enmity through enmity. He had also said that a social reformer does not get respect and his path is always tough, whereas a politician gets high respect in the society. He believed that there can be no development through class struggle and no one can get rights through violence. Everything depends upon coordination and cooperation, Shri Gopal said.
The RSS Sahsarkaryavah further said the two teachers who helped Babasaheb during his studies in childhood were Shri Pendase and Shri Vishnu Keluskar who were both Brahmans. He said Babasaheb was against reconstitution of the states on the basis of language.
About 250 persons from various walks of life joined the function. In the beginning, Shri Hemant Malaviya introduced the topic of discussion.
