NIA Arrests Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen terrorist from WB; Terrorist was involved in dacoities in Bengaluru to raise funds to wage war against India

The National Investigation Agency has arrested another terrorist belonging to the dreaded JMB in the case of hoarding explosive devices for the purpose of waging war against India. Few of the other accused in the same case had already been arrested by the NIA including the prime accused Jahidul Islam and Habibur Rahman.
 
The terrorist Mosaraf Hossain alias Moosa was arrested by the NIA on 16th December from his residence in Murshidabad District of West Bengal. He was produced before the NIA Special Court in Bengaluru yesterday and has been remanded to judicial custody. Mosaraf Hossain was wanted in the case where 5 Improvised hand grenades, 3 fabricated grenades caps, 3 circuits of IEDs, one 9mm live round, one air gun, explosive powders and other incriminating materials for waging war against India were seized by the NIA on 8th August, 2019 from a house in Chikkabanavara near Bengaluru.
 
Terrorist Mosaraf Hossain is an active member of JMB, a terrorist organisation proscribed by the Government of India.
 
Dacoity to fund Terror activities
 
NIA investigation has revealed that Mosaraf Hossain came to Bengaluru in the first week of March, 2018 along with other JMB terrorists Asif Ikbal to participate in terrorist activities in India.
 
While staying in Bengaluru, he along with other terrorist arrested in the case, Jahidul Islam, Kador Kazi, Habibur Rahman, Adil Seikh, Najir Sheikh, indulged in committing dacoity on houses in Bengaluru to raise funds for their activities. Investigation has revealed that they committed 2 dacoities in March-April of 2018 in the city.
 
The goal of these JMB terrorists was to use the funds in preparing explosive devices, guns, grenades, and carry out terror strikes across India.
