PRESIDENT’S COLOUR AWARDED TO INDIAN NAVAL ACADEMY

On November 20, 2019, the Hon’ble President of India and the Supreme Commander of Indian Armed Forces, Shri Ram Nath Kovind awarded the President’s Colour to Indian Naval Academy. The colour was received by Academy Cadet Captain Sushil Singh on behalf of the INA at an impressive parade. Congratulating the INA, Hon’ble President said, “The fine parade this morning resonates well with the high reputation this Academy that the INA has earned for itself in a relatively short span of time. The President’s Colour should serve as the motivating symbol to inspire and mould a generation of officers that will pass out from this world class institution”. The event was attended by several dignitaries including Governor of Kerala, Chief of the Naval Staff, Members of Parliament, State Ministers and Senior Officers of the Indian Navy. A Special Postal Cover was also released to commemorate the occasion.
