Nagpur: RSS Nagpur Mahanagar held six separate programmes for Shishu and Bal swayamsevaks on October 2 to commemorate the Vijayadashami Day. In all the six programmes the chief guests and chief speakers underlined the role of RSS in character building by instilling moral and patriotic values and national spirit in the society to make it organised, strong and vibrant so that India can become a world leader.
Bauddhik Pramukh Shri Ravindra Sahasrabuddhe, while addressing the gathering at Nandanvan Bhag, said the discipline, values and programmes of the RSS are aimed at inculcating national spirit among the children and make them responsible towards the society and the country. The essence of RSS teachings is that the swayamsevaks should learn to keep the nation and the society first without any hesitation, he said.
The programme held at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s BP Vidya Mandir saw the inspiring presence of Sarsanghachalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat. Chief guest Dr Ganesh Mukkawar, Dean, Government Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya said Dr Hedgewar founded the RSS in the days when it was very difficult to establish any organisation as the country was reeling under the British rule.
The Mohite Bhag function was held at NIT Ground in Wardhman Nagar where Shri Dharmpal Agrawal, a renowned businessman, was the chief guest. Famous paediatrician and president of IMA Nagpur Dr Kush Jhunjhunwala was the chief guest at Itwari and Lalganj Bhag. Another renowned paediatrician Dr Himanshu Duva was the chief guest at Rural Police Ground. Dharampeth, Trimurti and Somalwada Bhag Utsav was held at Navnirman Colony ground where dental surgeon Dr Abhay Datarkar was the chief guest. Chartered Accountant Suchit Uskelwar was the chief guest at Ajni, Ayodhya Bhag, New Subhedar layout.
