Service Before Self
Apropos (The Principled Fighter), Organiser March 31, 2019, the tribute to Manohar Parrikar was truly a heartfelt homage to the common men’s CM. In Parrikar’s demise, the nation has lost a fine politician, an excellent CM and one of the best Defence Ministers of our country. A politician, known for his integrity, dedication and commitment in whatever work done he was a taskmaster ready to face any odds and ever ready to solve whatever the crisis be. Being groomed as an RSS cadre gave him that extra impetus to be bold, honest, straight forward, hard working and committed to the national interest above everything. He was the first IITian Chief Minister of India and it was during his stint as our Defence Minister that the Armed Forces were modernised, a facelift was given and the heroic surgical strike was conducted. A brave and bold leader he was ever alert to pinpoint irregular and illegal activities happening. He adhered to the principle of service before self.

One of the most popular anecdotes the Goans have regaled themselves to has been about Manohar Parrikar, the Gem of Man. The anecdote is: A man driving a swanky SUV knocked down a hapless ‘scooterist’ on the road in Panaji, the Capital of Goa. While helping the hapless ‘scooterist’ to his feet, the man said, “Do you know who I am? Son of the MLA, who works with the Chief Minister of Goa!” Dusting himself, the unassuming scooterist said with a disarming, but wry smile, “I am the Chief Minister of Goa. Drive carefully. Take care!” And that hapless scooterist was Manohar Parrikar, the IIT-educated common man’s Chief Minister. The ideals that he has set in public life need to be emulated by all the politicians. He was a man for whom the nation was always first.

Final Blow to the ‘Hindu Terror’
APROPOS (Final Blow to the ‘Hindu Terror’ Narrative), Organiser, March 31, 2019, it took nearly 20 years for our august ‘institutions’ to deal a mortal blow to the sustained and orchestrated ‘Hindu Terror’ narrative perpetrated by the country’s oldest dynasty—the CONgress regime. It is a sobering thought to see how the nation was hijacked and held to ransom by the vested interests in the name of secularism, to serve their own agenda. Finally, the apex court has acquitted and released all the accused in the 2007 Samjhauta Express bombing case, without a shard of evidence. And endless temple-hopping by ‘janue dhari’ fake Hindus will taste a bitter pill, post-May poll results will demolish the Dynasts. People are not fools. Not anymore!

The Real Freedom
Apropos (Hindu Womanhood), Organiser March 10, 2019, I agree with the author that the so-called freedom of women in Western countries is a fraud. The women in these countries can have sexual relations with anyone they want. This freedom has resulted in broken families and husbands and children suffering from depression. While the Indian women in these countries are busy cooking food and serving to their husbands and kids. Even then they have excelled in all spheres of life. Whereas, the white people and their children have to eat food at hotels.

Curb the Freebies
Congress president has come with a big pre-poll announcement to give Rs 72,000 per annum to five crore families covering about 25 crore population in case his party comes to power. Poll-promise is a gimmick in itself because Congress president has said that the scheme is planned to be introduced in a phased manner without any elaboration of the term phased-manner. India would have been a developed nation if such allegedly pro-poor gimmick schemes would not have been allowed distributing free items or providing money without or nominal work just on paper like MNERAGA. Useless subsidies have tend to eaten up Indian economy like termites where most such subsidies in the name of poor are misused by affording ones like on postal-items including post-cards. Commoners including poor would have been benefitted much if heavy money spent on such schemes would have been better utilised on development projects and reduction in taxes.
