Patna: “The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is committed to make Bharat as dreamt by Swami Vivekananda. The Sangh swayamsevaks today run more than 1.5 lakh sewa projects in order to make the society stronger. The swayamsevaks are working tirelessly to enhance the strength of the society,” said RSS Sah Sarkaryavah Dr Manmohan Vaidya, while addressing a youth gathering on January 12. RSS Sah Prant Sanghachalak Shri Rajkumar Sinha was also present. The function was presided over by former chairman of Bihar School Examination Committee Shri Rajmani Prasad.
Shri Vaidya said that after the Chicago speech of Swami Vivekananda, the glory of Bharat increased manifold all over the world. In that speech on September 11, 1893 Swamiji apprised the whole world of the thinking tradition of Bharat. He described himself as the follower of that Indian tradition. He had no doubt about Bharat.
Dr Vaidya further said Swami Vivekananda changed the world view towards Bharat and apprised the world of India’s thinking. Referring to the RSS Dr Vaidya said the RSS is working to materialise the dream of Swami Vivekananda.
