‘Narendra Modi: Creative Disruptor’ by Dr R Balashankar on significant achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi government released by BJP president Amit Shah
New Delhi: “The policies that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has formulated and implemented are for transforming the nation. These will benefit the people for a long time to come,” said Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Shri Amit Shah, while releasing a book “Narendra Modi: Creative Disruptor” on December 10. The book, written by former editor of Organiser Dr R Balashankar, has been published by Konark Publishers. Managing Editor of Mathrubhumi Group of Publications Shri PV Chandran and MD of Konark Publishers Shri KPR Nair were also present. Many eminent personalities including the Union Minister of State Dr Jitendra Singh and various MPs were present.

The book highlights the significant policies formulated by Prime Minister Shri Modi during the last four and a half years. The popularity of the book can be understood from the fact that apart from various Indian languages it is being translated into many foreign languages including Korean, Russian and Japanese.
The BJP president further said the achievements of Shri Modi have been recorded in the book in 17 chapters. However, keeping in view the massive impact of the policies it is indeed a very tough job, but Dr R Balashankar has done a commendable job. “This government has strengthened the trust of the people in the democracy. He has transformed the policies in a way that they benefit the majority of the people and that benefit should reach the desired persons. Some people call him an autocrat but fact is that he is a good listener. We need to differentiate between firmness and autocracy,” Shri Shah said adding that this government has addressed the fundamental problems of the countrymen. The message ‘Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas’ has percolated to the ground level.
“This government has shown firmness in taking decisions. It took the decision which will be good for the country. It is because of these decisions that those who are the real beneficiaries have started getting benefits. When we came to power about 12 lakh non-existent widows were drawing benefits of the pension scheme. Similarly, the loot of Rs 87,000 crore was curbed through the DBT. There were 4 crore LPG cylinders which were owned by none. Those who are responsible for it are now questioning our performance. Shri Modi did not take the populist decisions but the decisions which benefited the maximum people. He has demolished all the contradictions,” Shri Shah said while describing the formation of the BJP government in 2014 as the change of an era. It was for the first time that any party got an absolute majority in 30 years and any non-Congress party got a majority after the Independence.
Shri PV Chandran said Dr R Balashankar is a widely-read author in Malayalam and he perfectly presen
ts the tough economic issues in lay man’s language. The book is a must read for those who want to know India after 2014. In the beginning, Dr R Balashankar while introducing the book said the book is exciting and unique in many senses. It is not a compilation of articles, it is based on the research. It is an answer to those who criticise Shri Modi. Usually, politicians use film stars to attract the crowd, but Shri Modi does not need any such method. He has saved the country from the open loot that was going on during the UPA regime.
