BJP Kerala state general secretary K Surendran got bail at last; it is after 21 days of ‘illegal’ incarceration. The prosecution was raising one case after another against him, most of them either fabricated or having someone else as the accused. Today, December 7, Kerala High court granted him bail in connection with an incident occurred in Sannidhanam during Chithira Attavishesham. He is accused of spearheading an attack on a 52 years old woman on her way to the shrine. It was also alleged that there was an attempt to kill her. But, the woman told the media that she did not undergo such attacks. In fact, there was a dispute about her age when her brother flaunted the ID proof of her daughter. in fact, Surendran was not seen in the visuals of the incident.
In other words, CPM-led LDF Government miserably failed in their endeavour to put Surendran behind the bar for an indefinite period.
Party president Adv. P.S. Sreedharan Pillai said that tihs is the victory of ‘Dharma” over ‘Adharma’. His party will go ahead with its agitation against the CPM conspiracy to wreck the temple and the temple traditions.
Bail is on some conditions. The following are the two major conditions among them. Surendran has to execute a bond of Rs 2 lakhs. Secondly, he cannot enter Pathanamthitta district.
