RSS Vijayadashami event in Port Blair, Andaman & Nicobar Islands
Port Blair: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) organised Vijayadashami function on October 19. Sah Prant Pracharak of Dakshin Bang Shri Prashant Bhatt graced the occasion along with Vibhag Karyavah Dr Amitav Dey and Zila Sanghachalak Shri S Vijay Kumar.
In his thought provoking speech, Shri Prashant Bhatt explained the importance of Vijayadashami from the time of Satyuga to Kaliyuga. He said Vijayadashami is the only day in our calendar having victories of Devshakti on the Asurikshakti. From the first day of Sangh Shakha started by Dr Keshav Baliram Headgwar in 1925 at Nagpur, the RSS has one and only agenda to restore glory of the nation.
The function took place at Dollygunj Mini Stadium where 143 swayamsevak along with general public participated. The function began with the Shashtra Pujan. The swayamsevaks gathered in the Stadium before 5:45 am to make all necessary arrangements in less than half an hour time. Nagar Karyavah Shri Uday Kumar along with the swayamsevak from 12 shakhas were involved in the preparation of the Ustav for some time. During the function the swayamsevaks displayed physical activities also.
