Bring forth facts about Ayodhya

New Delhi: “The debate over who demolished the mosque in Ayodhya and who is responsible for it will continue as it is part of politics. But it is necessary to bring forth the truth. Whenever the truth and justice are denied, there will be Mahabharata in Ayodhya. It should not happen, but nobody will be able to stop it,” said RSS Sarsanghachalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat while releasing two books on Ayodhya at a function on September 20. The books, Yuddha mein Ayodhya and Ayodhya ka Chashmadeed, have been written by Shri Hemant Sharma and published by Prabhat Prakashan. The function was presided over by Union Home Minister Shri Rajnath Singh. BJP president Shri Amit Shah was the chief guest.

Shri Rajnath Singh said the writer has extensively covered Ayodhya movement from the 1980s to the demolition of the disputed structure. He is among the persons, who is witness to different milestones in the movement from Karseva, Shilanyas, firing and demolition of the structure. He has visited Ayodhya more than 150 times for reporting.
 
Shri Amit Shah described Shri Ramjanmabhoomi movement as the biggest movement after the freedom movement. He said this movement touched all sections of the society. Citing the book, he said there are six major incidents related to Ayodhya and the sixth incident is the demolition of the disputed structure and this struggle basically began from then only. He said the Ayodhya movement continues since the demolition of the temple and it will continue till the culture does not win. Union Ministers Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad, Shri Prakash Javadekar, Shri Thavarchand Gahlot, Shri Vijay Goel, Shri Manoj Sinha, Sushri Anupriya Patel, Shri Santosh Gangwar, Shri Giriraj Singh, etc were also present on the occasion.
