5 Shri Narendra Sehgal talking to the media persons in Delhi
New Delhi: Senior RSS worker Shri Narendra Sehgal, who recently authored a book, “Yugpravartak Swatantrata Senani Dr Hedgewar ka Antim Lakshya: Bharatvarsh Ki Sarvang Swatantrata” (The Complete Freedom of Bharat: The Final Goal of Epoch Maker Freedom Fighter Dr Hedgewar) explained the role of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and its founder Dr Keshav Baliram Hedgewar in freedom movement to the media persons on June 5.
During the discussion, he particularly asked six questions to the Congress leadership and said if the Congress leaders cannot answer these questions they must stop questioning the role of the RSS in the freedom movement. He wanted the Congress to name a Congress leader who was hanged during the freedom movement, who underwent inhuman atrocities in the jails like other freedom fighters like Veer Savarkar, Dr KB Hedgewar, Bhai Parmanand, Virendra Sanyal, Bhagat Singh, etc suffered, who, barring Lala Lajpat Rai, sacrificed his/her life during the freedom struggle owing to the atrocities committed by the Police through sticks, who did not write his/her autobiography by sitting in the jail, who supported Mahatma Gandhi till his last breath and who sacrificed his/her life to the nation by staying bachelor.
Shri Sehgal said the RSS founder Dr Hedgewar was an unsung freedom fighter, who neither wrote his autobiography nor rallied to get published in the newspapers. Since day one the RSS workers have been convinced of the motto – nahin chahiye pad-yash-garima… (we don’t want post, fame and name…) and dedicated their life for complete Independence of Bharat. He said the RSS is still working for complete Independence of the nation and lakhs of RSS workers are working in various fields completely dedicating their lives to the nation.
