There is nothing new in this. All Muslim rulers and invaders have been doing so, exactly as per the hateful teachings of Islam. But the most shameful thing was, that Nehru rewarded Nizam by making him Rajpramukh, i.e. the ruler of Hyderabad State. Even Sardar Patel did not oppose this. On the other hand, Maharaja Hari Singh of Jammu & Kashmir, who willingly acceded to truncated Bharat, was forced to make Sheikh Abdullah as Prime Minister as a precondition, and was asked to go on exile outside the State, for the rest of his life. Thus, one can see, that Gandhi, Nehru and the Congress leaders have been behaving like agents of Pakistan and Muslims, working against the national interests, right from the beginning. Dr B R Ambedkar, the first law Minister in Nehru’s Government, has very boldly denounced Gandhi in his book, Pakistan or the Partition of India, on page 146,” He (i.e. Gandhi) has never called the Muslims to account even when have been guilty of gross crimes against the Hindus.”

Unnecessary Hue and Cry This refers to the article titled ‘ Churning the Economy’ by Prof (Dr) Gourav Vallabh in Organiser, issue dated November 12. A hue and cry is being raised about the difficulty being faced by traders due to GST. But the reality is altogether different. The matter is being blown out of proportion by the Opposition. The truth is that GST has been accepted by the traders and most of the glitches have been resolved. Few issues which still exists will be resolved soon and soon people will realise that the GST is going to be a good tax for trade and public in general. We are aware of the fact that 140 countries in world have already implemented GST, and India to march towards being developed country needs this tax reform. Most of the traders and most trade bodies have wholeheartedly welcomed the GST and are slowly accepting the reality of GST. |
Still Teething
Ever since the news of elevation of the Congress Rahul Gandhi for the post of Congress president has been confirmed, Congress leaders have been abuzz around Rahul Gandhi’s name. Not surprisingly, his anointment has been put off some time. We have witnessed in the last few years that every time when the Congress lost elections, Rahul Gandhi is protected by all its sycophants. And now since the Gujarat elections are round the corner, Congress leadership, knowing it very well that a defeat is on the cards, wants his elevation postponed. A defeat here will squarely be on his shoulders and they would not like his new innings as Party president to begin with a sad note. While any political leader worth his salt would admit that defeat and win are part of political career, but only a good leader would be humble to admit the defeat with grace, own up responsibility and learn from it. But sadly Rahul Gandhi is far away from it. The Congress scion does not have any administrative experience and mere being a MP does not add much to his political CV. What an irony that he is still work in progress despite being in active politics for more than two decades now. BAL GOVIND, Noida

Wake Up
Apropos the editorial of Organiser titled ‘Life is Smogged’ dated November 19. Delhi continues to bear the ignominy of being one of the most polluted cities in the world with alarming indifferences. Every year, the slew of emergency measures announced by the authorities at various levels, are not merely a case of too-little too-late, but one of shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted. The whole of north India is engulfed in a thick blanket of smog, the main reason for which is the burning of paddy straw by the farmers, along with low temperature due to which smoke gets trapped in the lowest layer of atmosphere. This level of pollution is affecting the asthma and heart patients and also healthy people. Besides there is loss of life every day in road accidents caused by smog. As usual, the NGT, as also the media, rapped the Centre and the State Governments for failing to find a solution. Instead of engaging in pointless debates, what Delhiites need to do is wake up to the severity of the problems facing them, and help the Government come up with a comprehensive steps to tackle the situation. That would be true love for the nation.

For Vote bank
This refers to the cover story of Organiser titled ‘Commemorating Tipu’s Bloodbath’ by Prashanth Vaidyaraj dated November 19. While celebration of important dates of great leaders and patriots is welcome but if the person happens to be a bigot and perpetrator of loathsome acts towards the other majority, one does not even deserve description, let alone his birth anniversary being observed. The celebration of Tipu’s birth anniversary by the Congress Government in Karnataka is nothing short of appeasement politics of vote-bank. The writer must beapplauded for giving details about the non-descript autocrat who surpassed even Auranzeb in inflicting agony on the majority Hindus and the minority Christians. At least Auranzeb was not heard to be of salacious in nature, contrary to Tipu Sultan’s licentious nature.
