The rise of fundamentalism in Kerala the land of legendary Shankaracharya is a matter of great concern to us. The Muslims got their share from the united India in 1947 in the form of Pakistan. The rest of India belongs to the Hindus. All the Muslims should have gone to Pakistan in 1947 their father land but due to the leniency of Gandhi and Nehru they were allowed to stay here in India. They should be grateful to India for this. But instead of being grateful they are organising terrorist outfits like SIMI and PFI. I was surprised that they are sending recruits to IS. It is all the more terrible that they misguide children to go to IS-a terror state for the world. It is all the more shameful that the comrades and Congress are siding with the Muslim terrorists. The whole country should face the Muslim fundamentalists unitedly. Those who preach, “Quran is our Constitution and Muhamad is our leader” have no right to live in India. They should go to Pakistan. Comrades should understand that Indian people will not tolerate Stalinism in India. Everybody has the right to follow any ideology or party according to one’s conscience.

Things Must Improve
Apropos to the article ‘Fatal Collapse’ by Dr Pramod Pathak in Organiser dated October 15. Stampedes have been occurring across the country for decades. The Mumbai stamped is not the first instance. But stamped on foot overbridges has become a recurring feature. A comparison of foot overbridges constructed in recent years shows that these bridges are narrow in comparison to the British era. Even if bullet trains are scrapped, it will not improve railway functioning or efficiency because it is related to chalta hai
attitude of railway babudom. Since the stamped took place within the precincts of the railway station, so regulating movement was the responsibility of the railways. If the accident site was unmanned, or people were crossing rail tracks, then they should be blamed for civic sense or plain carelessness. The need for harsh action against those responsible for such incidents can only improve the situation. Inefficiency,
corruption, lack of accountability have been the hallmarks of Indian Railways. Things must change.

Baseless Criticism
Judging from the Congress vice president’s relentless targeting of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and his Government at home and abroad, one will not hesitate to come to the conclusion that after facing a number of defeats at the hands of the BJP, the Congress and its workers have become frustrated. Recently the Congress scion Rahul Gandhi childishly suggested that since Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has failed in his promise to provide jobs and improve the economy he should handover the governance to him and his Party and the situation would be set right ‘within six months’. We just want to ask him one question, why he did not achieve that goal when his Party was in power from 2004-2014 under the leadership of his mother and he himself, until Shri Modi’s victory in the general elections. Why has his grand Party of the Freedom Movement been reduced from over 400 seats during his father Rajiv Gandhi’s prime ministership to just about 10 per cent in the last elections. Even in the recent State elections, except Punjab that the Congress won, Rahul Gandhi was nowhere in the picture. He badly lost even in his home State of Uttar Pradesh.

Selective Ban
This refers to the article titled ‘Diffusing Pollution’ by Dr R N Krishna in Organiser dated October 22.The Supreme Court’s ban on sale of firecrackers in NCR-Delhi on the occasion of Deepawali was a good step, for it has had a salutary effect on the region’s atmosphere that is chronically loaded with air pollution. However pollution from worse sources like industries, vehicles and dust is a major menace that needs to be tackled first. In any case, what certainly riles many citizens is why there isn’t a campaign to ensure a bloodless Eid? if air gets polluted due to crackers, then by the same token, our country would also be losing it’s precious cattle wealth which holds the key to the health of our farming sector due to indiscriminate slaughtering of cattle on Bakrid. Further it pollutes our holy rivers also as the blood and other waste material is thrown in the rivers on such festivals. I feel that ban should be imposed on all such rituals which pollutes the environment and become a pain for others.

without realising whether he is protesting wisely or not. A spike in Delhi Metro fares was inevitable. The Metro has to run on self-sustaining model, it cannot survive on subsides. Besides, future expansion of network has also to be kept in mind. With increase in power tarrif, operating costs too will go up. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, instead of opposing the hike, can always
provide cheap and efficient bus service as an alternative to the people of Delhi.

Need to watch against RohingyasTwo articles in Organiser, issue dated October 1st, titled ‘Question of Propriety’ by Prateek Rai and ‘National Security Paramount, Not Religion’ by Brig (Retd) Anil Gupta on Rohingya Muslims from Mayanmar, throw sufficient light on the serious problems posed by Rohingyas in our country. It may be added, that these Rohingyas have created problems not only for the Buddhists, but also killed hundreds of Hindus and forcefully took away Hindu women and girls to Mayanmar. Such criminals do not deserve any consideration, especially in truncated Bharat, which has been victim of Islamic terror for more than one thousand years. Dr B R Ambedkar, the first Law Minister of the country, writes in his book Pakistan or the Partition of India on page 81, that “Muslims look Hindus as a Kafir, who deserve more to be exterminated than protected.” This is exactly, what they have been doing, not only in the past, but now also. It is shameful, that not only Muslim mullahas and leaders, but the so-called secular brigade, followers of Gandhi and Nehru compare the Rohingyas with Hindu and Sikh refugees coming from Pakistan in 1947, during discussions on TV channels. We should learn from Mayanmar and the US, who boldly denounce Islamic terror, but we sadly enough go on saying that terror has no religion. |
Bullies are Cowards
The story about the schoolyard is bully is well-known, he (or she) usually intimidates the other smaller children on the field due to heft. Invariably, some of the smaller
children fall into the bully’s orbit subjugating their rights. But every once in a while, there is one child on the field who stands up to the bully. Most bullies are usually scared of actual confrontation because they know their bark is worse than their bite. And they also know that the principal and teachers might turn a blind eye to some light bullying—they will not condone a real fight. So the bully backs down. But there is an addendum to this story, backing down is seen as defeat by the bully. If you have seen the movies you know that the bully will confabulate with allies and come back to give the kid who stood up to them a fight. This parable applies to the Indo-China situation as well. China, clearly the regional bully, but did not expect India to stand up for Bhutan. And also for India itself, because if the Chinese were allowed to ride roughshod into the Doklam Plateau, their heavy guns would have been within the range of vital transportation links to India’s North-East. The announcement by the Ministry of External Affairs that both sides have climbed down from the confrontation is laudable and while both India and China will make attempts to spin the climb down in their own ways, in India, we should not, even for a second, believe that the game is over.

Failed Leader
Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi is at a mediocre who is ignorant of Indian sentiments, temperaments and its invaluable culture and religion. He is still unable to formulate a grand strategy or a policy that is ideologically oriented for the development of the country. His ostentatious statements and expression of weariness for the farmers tragedy made him a laughing stock. What did the Congress did during its 60 years of rule for the betterment, welfare and upliftment of the farmers? Rahul Gandhi’s jibes at the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi are deliberate, without any reason or justification. It is high time that the Congress should change his inveterate mindset and retrospect if he aspires to establish himself as a credential leader.
