The three-day Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS), the apex decision and policy making body of RSS, was held from March 19 to 20 and 21 in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu

The three-day Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS), the apex decision and policy making body of RSS, was held from March 19 to 21 in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The first ever ABPS in Tamil Nadu was held on the spiritual campus of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore.
The ABPS is attended by the state level office bearers of RSS across the nation, national office bearers of RSS inspired organisations, selected representatives elected from RSS-Shakhas of all regions of the country along with a few other
special invitees. This year, the office
bearers of Bharatiya Kisan Sangh, Vanavasi Kalyan Ashram, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bharatiya Janata Party, Vidya Bharati, Vijnana Bharati, Kreeda Bharati, Seva Bharati, Samskrita Bharati, Samskara Bharati, Laghu Udyog Bharati, Rashtra Sevika Samithi, Swadeshi Jagaran Manch, Deendayal Samshodhana Samsthe, Bharat Vikas Parishad, Akhil Bharatiya Shaikshik Mahasangh, Dharmajagarana, Vishwa Vibhag, Sakshama, Seema Suraksha Parishad, Poorva Sainik Parishad attended the meeting and submitted the annual report of their activities.
A day ahead of the conclave, RSS Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh Dr Manmohan Vaidya briefed the media on March 18.
RSS Sarsanghachalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat and RSS Sarkaryavah Shri Suresh Bhaiyyaji Joshi jointly inaugurated the three-day ABPS. On the inaugural
day, addressing the press, RSS Sahsarakaryavah V Bhagaiah detailed on the increase of Sangh Shakas in the country. In the last 10 years, the Sangh work has been on a continuous rise, phase by phase. Last year, one lakh youth participated in the Prathmik Shiksha Varg. 17500 trainees participated in the 20-day training camps held throughout the country.  4,130 trainees participated in the second year regional camps across the country.  973 trainees participated in the third year training camp at Nagpur.  As per the annual report, 57,233 Shakas, 14,896 weekly milans and 8,226 monthly
mandalis are being held throughout the country. Service activities run by
swayamsevaks at 19,121 seva bastis.
RSS Sarakaryavah Shri Suresh Bhaiyyaji Joshi presented the annual report of RSS before the Pratinidhi Sabha. The ABPS paid homage to all the
distinguished persons who contributed to the national cause through their hard work by dedicating their genius, wisdom and abilities in various fields including K Suryanarayana Rao, a guidance force of RSS, Cho Ramasamy, Editor of Tamil weekly, Tughlaq, Selvi J Jayalalitha,
Chief Minister of Tamilnadu, M Balamuralikrishna, Famous classic
musician. RSS mourned the passing away of those who lost their lives in various accidents, natural calamities, who sacrificed their lives in the border skirmishes and those who were made the victims of violence due to political intolerance.
Passing a resolution over the growing jehadi activities in West Bengal, on the second day, the ABPS expressed its grave concerns over the unabated rise in
violence by jehadi elements in West Bengal, encouragement to the anti-
national elements by the state government due to its Muslim vote bank politics and
declining Hindu population in the state. “Fatwas inciting violence are openly being issued by fundamentalist Maulavis. Hindus are being attacked by
fundamentalist elements at several places including Katwa, Kaligram, Ilambazar and Metiaburuj (Kolkata). A large number of Hindus are being forced to flee from the border areas under the pressure of fundamentalist forces. Smuggling of fake currency and cow progeny along with illegal migration are being perpetually encouraged by these very elements. During the investigation of Burdwan bomb blasts, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has found that several terror modules exist across the state and this network of Jehadi extremists is spread on both sides of the border,” said in the resolution.
The ABPS strongly condemned the extremist violence and the Muslim appeasement policy of the West Bengal Government and called upon the
countrymen to create awareness against this Jehadi violence and communal
politics of the State Government. It also urged the media to present the prevalent grave situation before the country. The ABPS called upon the State Government to rise above petty vote bank politics and discharge its constitutional obligations. The ABPS also urged the Union Government to ensure firm action against these anti-national jehadi elements of the state in the interest of national security.
The last day of the ABPS was blessed with the auspicious presence of Mata Amritanandamayi Devi aka Amma. Amma visited the ABPS and blessed the
delegates. Shri Mohan Bhagwat and Shri Suresh Bhayyaji Joshi welcomed Amma to the Pratinidhi Sabha. Attended by nearly 1400 delegates from all Prants of Bharat and few from abroad, the annual meet has been concluded on March 21 with
a valedictory speech delivered by Sarsanghchalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat.
