Nagaland: The Eternal Binding Force

Various terrorist organisations with their international patronages have been overactive to chop off this neck and secede NE part from Bharat.

When Nagas were not Christian, they were very much patriotic people and had unflinching devotion to Bharat.  However after getting converted to Christianity peace preachers turned hate propagators

Whole of the North-East region is connected with main land Bharat with a 30 km wide Siliguri Corridor known as Chicken”s Neck sandwiched between Bhutan and Bangladesh. Various terrorist organisations with their international patronages have been overactive to chop off this neck and secede NE part from Bharat. The Church, madrasas and the Communist communes, patronised by pseudo-secularists and anti-national human rightists, have been conspiring to wean away the local people and use them as pawn in their hands to stab Bharat.
Nagaland reached its peak of extremism, terrorism and secessionism and its church and political patrons caused the death of 40,000 innocent Nagas. The most hospitable, honest, industrious and patriotic Hindu (follower of eternal way of worship) Nagas were replaced with most arrogant, intolerant, inhospitable, dishonest, lethargic and anti-national Christian Nagas. More the conversion, greater the terrorism. Peace preachers turned hate propagators. All these anti-social activities were done and supported in the name of Jesus Christ.
But a large section of Naga society who became Christian for name sake under the threat of bullet and thrashing by barrels, sustained their eternal way of worship and culture, which further united the society and provided social harmony not only among the members of one and the same  community, but also between neighbouring communities.
Before the advent of Christianity, all Nagas, without any exception, proclaimed themselves as Hindu with thick long shikha (choti) at their heads. They worshipped invisible Almighty God and many Demi-Gods and Goddesses. They followed solar calendar. In each festival, they worshipped God and Demi-Gods and Goddesses followed by colourful folk dances with folk songs. Generally, disputes did not occur but if at all there surfaced any sort of differences, they were mutually settled by village elders as per customary laws. Traditional Nagas were follower of eternal Hindu Dharma. These culturally rich Nagas were economically poor but beggary was unknown to them. Naga villages were situated at peak of the mountain surrounded by thick forests and most of them were big villages with 100 or more houses in a cluster. Houses in the villages were not locked still no theft case was ever reported. Men and women enjoyed equal status in the family. No eve-teasing or rape cases ever surfaced. The Hindu traditions were binding force to unite the society.
When Nagas were not Christian, they were very much patriotic people and had unflinching devotion to Bharat. The British officials, Christian missionaries and British army were resisted by every Naga village—big or small. The eternal religion and culture provided sustenance to the resistance to British incursion. During 1849 to 1879, the Hindu Angami Villages opposed tooth and nail the White men’s religion – Christianity. However things changed drastically after Nagas got converted into Christianity. How patriots turned traitors after conversion to Christianity? The case of Nagas is a burning example. The Angami Nagas and Phizo along with Lotha Nagas and others who fought against Christian conversion and British expansion before 1947 turned anti-national when sizeable number of them including Phizo were converted to Christianity and in the quest of attaining secession from Bharat these Christian Nagas killed their own people numbering forty thousands.
But the followers of eternal religion in Naga society are trying their best to draw a balance in the society and sustain the social harmony and mutual confidence.  Organisations like Zeliangrong Heraka Association, Angami Pfutsana Keseko Kehou, Chakhesang Lhikiri Lenyu Kezomi Mapou and Dimasa Dharm Sabha are working in the direction of preserving, propagating and promoting the Sanatan Dharma and Sanatan Sanskriti, thereby, promoting social harmony and mutual trust.
