After going through the issue I can say with confidence that the articles written by various writers gives an in-depth view of the RSS and an idea to understand RSS. The article by Shri Vinay Sahasrabuddhe titled ‘In Tune With Civilisation’ is thought provoking. The article by Prof Ved P Nanda titled ‘Mission Transmission‘provides a telescopic view of how the RSS works in overseas countries. In addition to these two articles the other articles are also worth reading. The issue is really a ‘Collector’s Edition’. Please accept my congratulations for this wonderful issue.

Organiser, November 20 (Organiser, November 20); This refers to the editorial in Organiser titled ‘Delivering the Mandate’ and a story titled ‘Clean Sweep not a Whitewash’ by Bhagawati Prakash Sharma, discussing various aspects of demonetising Rs 500 and 1,000 currency notes. Certainly it is a positive step not only to paralyse various criminal activities, but would tone up national economy as well. All those Opposition parties which are raising hue and cry have many things in common namely: Involved in black money and corruption, appeasement of Muslims, mild towards jihadi terrorists, hatred for our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, so much so that they are using foul language against him. But public in general is supporting the move of demonetising, on whose behalf they claim to fight, only to hide their own sins and crimes. Government is running Railways and road transport for the benefit of the people. Many a times there are rail and road accidents but we do not stop this service. Similarly some persons and individuals have suffered due to this step of demonetising, but there is no reason and justification to condemn it. As per news in the press, Supreme Court and some High Courts are entertaining Public Interest Litigation (PIL) against demonetising, filed by the agents of the Congress and its associates. In my opinion, Judiciary should be told that they are not supposed to run the Government and issue instructions to the Government, and the Government should ignore the notice issued by the courts in this regard. Judiciary should not become a tool in the hands of political parties, which are afraid of facing discussion in the Parliament. |

(Timely Exposition, December 18); The article titled ‘Timely Exposition’ by Ratan Sharda in Organiser is a commendable one. It narrates the sequence of performances of Shri Narendra Modi’s Government and explains its vision. The article has correctly evaluated the doings of the Government and is very enlightening. Help the Government
One of the most heard complaint in demonetisation is shortage of new notes for exchange and for distribution by banks and ATMs. Everybody is putting the blame on the Government and the Reserve Bank of India (now it is
sarcastically called Reverse Bank of India) that these people have not taken enough measures to print adequate notes in advance. Of course it is true. But that’s not the only truth. The other factor is hijacking and stealing of available notes by influential people with the connivance of bank people. Daily we hear lakhs of currency notes being confiscated in raids from the houses of politicians, Government officials and hawala dealers. The new notes are with these people. Government has to increase the numbers of raids on the politicians, babus, hawala dealers. These people are worse than terrorists. Not keeping an eye on this aspect is the fault of the Government and the Reserve Bank of India, which is
causing the heart burn among the general public. This is where the Reserve Bank of India and the concerned Government officials have ditched Shri Narendra Modi in his onerous task of getting rid of black money and fake currency. The fact is, in India we have large number of traitors along with good number of patriots. That’s the reason that why most of the Government schemes get unsuccessful. Let God save India from traitors.

Domestic Cat
Rahul Gandhi is giving very foolish and offensive speeches these days. He shouts at the top of his voice without saying anything of substance or sense. He wants to be known as a big leader but ends up by looking like a clown. Decades back a leader of one of our neighbouring countries was also behaving in the same manner and our senior leader C Rajagopalachari silenced him by describing him as a “cat, a domestic cat, who tries to roar like a lion” Rahul Gandhi is no better than a domestic cat and people should tell him not to try to roar like a lion, in his own interest.

Check Stashing of New Currency
This refers to the editorial in Organiser titled ‘Present Confusion for the Future Inclusion’ dated 27.11.2016. No doubt the demonetisation of the currency is a blessing in disguise. Though we may face a hardship now, it is good for our future. To some extent the step curbed and defeated the production of fake currency by the militants, Naxalites, and other anti-national groups. However, a more of planning and preparation was required for the cash drench for lower denomination currency notes. But the Government has failed to check people who are now stashing black money in new currency. The Government of India should make a separate arrangement to check such people. Appreciating the move made by Shri Modi, I would request the Government that now it should tackle other issues also such as GST, cow
protection and Ganga cleaning.

Judicial Delay
The very fact that those who were convicted in the Nirbhaya’s rape case, are yet to be hanged , shows that there is no appropriate mechanism in the Indian criminal justice framework to ensure a sense of security and justice for the victims. Though there have been amendments in the law and the fast tracking of rape cases have been introduced, it is common knowledge that the system has been subverted against the interest and welfare of the victim. It is time the country gets a victim rights’ code, which recognises victims of crimes as independent right holders, having a greater say in the prosecution process. While one may have different opinions on the death penalty, it should be kept in mind that India recognises and accepts death penalty as an appropriate mode of punishment and efforts to dilute the same by procedural hurdles is unfortunate.

Educating People
The Opposition has been constantly ridiculing the idea of digital transformation ever since demonetisation was announced. Their pet argument is that rural India is not prepared for it. Perhaps they are underestimating the capacity of the rural masses to adapt to the digital way of life. If people in urban areas adopt cash transactions through
digitisation, a large quantity of raw cash will be available which can be used for educating people in rural areas. Though they will take time to catch up, it isn’t unimaginable.

Bring to book various terror groups
The conviction of five Indian Mujahideen members including its co-founder Yasin Bhatkal, by a special court, for the Hyderabad blasts, is a tribute to the perseverance, dedication and skill of the National Investigation Agency. Many youngsters in the country are drawn towards terror by compulsion. Family environment and peer pressure force them into terrorism. Knowing it well that their decision is fraught with danger, youngsters get hooked to terror, much to the glee terror groups like Islamic State. By the time the youth decipher everything is not hunky-dory, and things have gone horribly wrong, they already reach a point of no return. What can be done is to bring to book various terror groups hiding in the country. Also, there is a need to keep a watchful eye on the terror intellects, disguising as sophisticated preachers, who can do much damage to India’s social and religious fabric.

United For Good Cause
I am very happy that the Rajya Sabha for the first time since the Winter Session commenced on November 16, came together to mean serious legislative business and passed the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Bill, 2014, that too without any discussion. It was heartening that leaders, both in the Opposition and the Government, displayed solidarity, keeping political differences aside, and termed this piece of social legislation as crucial to empowering the differently abled community. The Bill will give a boost to the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s Accessible India Campaign, to ensure accessibility for the differently abled, since it will make the differently abled people eligible for their rights, and will also make people think twice before they indulge in discriminatory practice against them.
