Lawer-activist Prashant Bhushan’s desperate attempt to implicate Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in an alleged case of payoffs to politicians in Gujarat when Shri Modi was the Chief Minister of the State has fallen flat on the face.It was bound to, given that it’s one thing to fling wild allegations in the public domain and another to
substantiate them in the court of law. The Supreme Court did the right thing by junking the material Bhushan had placed before a two-judge bench, claiming irregularities of Shri Modi. It is very sad that Modi’s rivals don’t hesitate to use flimsy evidences against him with the hope that even if they cannot put him in the dock , they can at least taint his image.This has been evident in the manner in which the anti- Modi industry has worked overtime to accuse him of personal negligence at best and complicity at worst during the 2002 Gujarat violence.That their
individual and joint efforts have led to nowhere , demonstrates the hollowness of their accusations.The latest occasion they have seized upon is the NDA government’s demonetisation decision, driven personally by the Prime Minister. And yet, his critics have been unable to dilute the public perception that demonetisation has been for the larger national good.

corruption and the howling of the Opposition parties over it reminds one of the famous story of the of the Arabian Nights ‘Alibaba and the forty thieves’. We wish that Shri Modi, the Ali Alibaba is able to politically finish off the combined Opposition who are acting like the forty thieves, in the

I am deeply disappointed at the sad demise of former President of Cuba Fidel Castro at the ripe age of 90 years. An Iron-Man who dared USA amid countries of American continent, against colonisation. He should be an
outstanding example for other countries who fell prey to US and UK. Last but not least, Fidel Castro had made a law prohibiting cow slaughter, when he was the President of Cuba. This was one of the most commendable thing he has done during his tenure. We wish the present President of Cuba, Raul Castro follow his footsteps.

Can’t be Excused
(Heroes of 1965 War, October 23); This refers to the story in Kid’s Org page in Organiser titled ‘Heroes of 1965 War’ by Aniket Raja, giving heroic deeds of our brave jawans. Lal Bhadur Shastri, the then Prime Minister of unlucky truncated Bharat surrendered all the gains of our armed forces at the negotiating table and even returned the Hindu majority Tharparkar District of Sind, which was captured by our forces. Not only that, he returned those areas of Jammu and Kashmir which were freed from Pakistan. Moreover he was deeply anti-Hindu. He prevented friendly King of Nepal from attending Hindu Conference as a chief guest, organised by RSS although the King had already given his consent for it. Shastri cancelled his own foreign tour to receive Pope Paul as a state guest, although Pope’s activities were meant for spread of Christianity and nothing to do with national interests. Being a Hindu Shastri cannot be excused for what he did against the interest of the Hindus.

Initial Hiccups
All doomsday forecasts regarding a fall in growth and Gross Domestic Product will soon be proved wrong when the fruits of demonetisation would start appearing within a course of time. Initial hiccups, inconveniences and
market blues will vanish soon. Black money is like cancer. Treatment will take time but it will be cured provided the public supports the Government. In fact it is not the general public which is making a hue and cry regarding
demonetisation but the corrupt who have stashed loads of black money at home and abroad. The opposition to the demonetisation of currency notes by the Opposition Parties stems from two
reasons. Firstly the Opposition Parties want to oppose the decision taken by the NDA Government for the sake of opposition. Secondly demonetisation has come as a bolt from the blue to the Opposition Parties since no time was given to them to hoard black money.

Pakistan understands only force
The killing of three 57 Rashtriya Rifles soldiers by Pakistan-sponsored
militants is undoubtedly a cowardly act.The Indian army must give a
befitting reply to the jihadis within no time. Pakistan’s army is a rogue
organisation and it does not heed to any civilian signal. Its intentional act of creating regular disturbances across the Line of Control (LoC) and the International Border (IB) must be checked with an ever greater
surveillance and force. It is time for India to escalate the level of surgical strikes so as to cause heavy damages to the militant camps on either side of the border. The escalation of cross-border attacks reflects Pakistan’s desperate attempt to provide support to the Islamists. Further it also brings home the fact that the Pakistan absolutely functions independently, despite there being a democratically elected
government in power.The recent killings clearly shows that Pakistan is not vying for peace. it wants to prolong the crisis. India must be prepared for the same.

To say that Prime Minister Modi and the US President Donald Trump are the same won’t be fair but their
journeys to the top office are
comparable. While Modi was up against Lutyen’s Delhi coterie of his own party, Trump was up against Republican governors and senators such as Marco Rubio Ben Carson and other who were seen as the
establishment politicians by many. Surprisingly, both their campaigns had similar taglines. While Modi used Achche Din and Main desh nahi jhukne doonga, Trump used ‘Make America Great Again’. Probably these were meant to reminder the voter of
restoring the nation to lost glory.
