Panipat: “When a person is in trouble, he takes extra precautions so that there is no more trouble. But when the atmosphere is favourable, he becomes careless, which lends him in new troubles. Since there is a favourable atmosphere in the country today for the swayamsevaks, they need to be extra cautious so that the energy is not wasted in any unnecessary activity,” said RSS Sarsanghachalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat, while addressing a gathering of swayamsevaks at Arya School Grounds on November 18. Kurukshetra Vibhag Sanghachalak Dr Gopal Krishna and Panipat District Sanghachalak Shri Anup Kumar also shared the dais.
Shri Bhagwat said welfare of the entire world is the goal of Bharat. We have seen many ups and downs during the history. We were at the pinnacle of glory, but we also faced slavery. No foreign power could defeat us through might, but by taking advantage of our differences. Therefore, we have to educate every person of the society. “Today the society trusts the Sangh swayamsevaks. But it did not happen so easily. Earlier, they were opposed, but now the society has started trusting us. We are moving ahead to achieve our goal,” he added.
During his three day tour, the Sarsanghachalak addressed a meeting of Sangh Pracharaks from Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh, J&K and Himachal Pradesh. They included Zilla and Vibhag Pracharaks and also the Pracharaks engaged in the activities of social harmony, Samarasata, Parivar Prabodhan, Gram Vikas and Gau Samrakshan. He stressed to accelerate the work of Parivar Prabodhan, social harmony, cow protection and village development, because they will
accelerate the desired change in the society.
He stressed the need on study and dialogue for all the workers. “Those in society who believe in betterment of the society and have the spirit of working together should be taken along,” he said. India needs value based education
Indore: Rashtra Chetna Shivir concluded on November 20. Addressing the gathering, RSS Akhil Bharatiya Sah Sampark Pramukh Shri Arun Kumar said no person can feel honoured untill his nation is in
trouble. He said every citizen of the country needs to dream for highest development of the country. Therefore, the youth of the nation should live a meaningful life, which has an objective. “Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose passed ICS exam in the age of 23. His parents thought about happy and prosper life for him after becoming an administrative officer. But as Netaji reached home, he told his parents that from tomorrow he would start working for independence of the nation. This type of commitment and dedication to the nation should be in the hearts of the youth,” Shri Arun Kumar said.
Second day of the camp witnessed Kabaddi competitions. In the evening a procession was taken out. A large number of local people also visited the camp, which was inaugurated by Kshetra Pracharak Shri Arun Jain on November 18. It was dedicated to 350th Prakash Parva of Guru Gobind Singh. An exhibition was also
organised at the camp, which was inaugurated by the Akhil Bharatiya Dharma Jagran Pramukh Shri Sharad Dhole. The youth attending the camp were housed in ten different cities named after ten Sikh Gurus.
Kisan Sangh for permission of note exchange to Cooperatives Banks
New Delhi: Bharatiya Kisan Sangh (BKS) has suggested the Government of India to allow the Cooperative Banks and agencies to exchange Rs 500 and 1,000 notes so that the farmers can get new currency without difficulty. Extending full support to demonetising move of the Central Government it said that all the cooperative agencies, which provide seeds and fertilizers to farmers, should also be authorised to exchange the notes, because a large number of farmers have their accounts there. “Now the farmers are in the process of sowing Rabi crop. Hence, they are worried for seeds and fertilizers. If the sowing is delayed it will have adverse effect on the output. That is why the BKS has suggested the Government to ease the problems of the farmers,” a statement issued by the Kisan Sangh general secretary Shri Badrinarayan Chaudhary.
Time to propagate the philosophy of Dr Ambedkar
Allahabad: Describing Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar as a multifaceted personality, RSS Sahsarkaryavah Dr Krishna Gopal said Dr Ambedkar gave new direction to the society. He said dharma motivates people for good works and attracts others. Dr Ambedkar was doing the same. The RSS Sahsarkaryavah was speaking at a seminar organised on the philosophy of Dr Ambedkar at CMP Degree College in Allahabad on November 20. He stressed the need to propagate the philosophy of Dr Amebdkar.
Presiding over the function Justice (retd) Shri Ramsurat Ram Maurya said the man is slave of circumstances. He said Dr Ambedkar developed the sense of pride and self-respect in the section of the society, which was insulted as and termed untouchable for long. Dr Ambedkar educated them about their rights and also exhorted that section of the society to raise a voice for those rights, he added.
New Building for Social Cause
Chikkodi, a Northern town in Karnataka, got a new address—Keshav Kala Bhavan, on November 21, when a new building was inaugurated to promote social activities especially educational projects in the area. The Kala Bhavan has been built by Keshav Smriti Trust. The new building was inaugurated by Dr Channasiddharama Panditaradhya Shivacharya Swamiji of Yadoor Math, RSS Akhil Bharatiya Vyavastha Pramukh Shri Mangesh Bhende, Akhil Bharatiya Sewa Pramukh Shri Suhas Hiremath and industrialist Shri Rahul Baldota. Chikkodi is the place where the first RSS Shakha in Karnataka was started by Dadarao Parmarth in 1935. A new chapter in social reforms began after the beginning of the Shakha. On January 16, 1937, RSS founder Dr Keshav Baliram Hedgewar had also visited Chikkodi. n
Sahakar Bharati State Conference
Thrissur: Sahakar Bharati’s goal is to achieve economic freedom of the most backward citizens of Bharat, said Shri Vijay Devankan, national organising secretary of the Sahkar Bharati while addressing the State leaders on November 12 at a meeting organised in connection with the State conference. National general secretary Prof Uday Joshi, secretary Adv K Karunakaran, Kshetra Secretary Shri U Kailasamani, Shri P Prakashan and Shri S Ramachandran also spoke on the occasion. The State conference was inaugurated on November 13 by Shri Jyotindra Mehta, veteran co-operative activist and national president of the Sahakar Bharati. National patron Prof Satish Marathe was also present.
Delegates from all over the State attended the meeting. All districts and taluks were represented. A seminar was held on the challenges being faced by the co-operative sector. The valedictory function was inaugurated by Union Minister of State for Co-operation & Panchayati Raj Shri Parshottam Rupala. It was addressed by BMS State president Shri KK Vijayakumar and BJP leaders Shri Kummanam Rajasekhran and Sobha Surendran. The conference was attended by about 15,000 people.
The conference passed a resolution blaming the CPM-led LDF government for its move to demolish the current, effective three-tier co-operative system prevailing in Kerala, that is, Primary, Zilla and State level. Now, the LDF regime’s design is to make it a two-tier system, that is at Primary and State level. This is to avoid proper audit and transparency.
The people of Kerala are very much relieved to see the sign of the rise of a new co-operative movement in the State which is different from the CPM
dominated movement. Sahakar Bharati is built upon the primary co-operative societies. Two year long programmes in connection with the birth centenary of the late Lakshman Rao Inamdar, founder of nationalist co-operative movement are being carried out throughout the country.
Eye camp by Sewa Bharati
New Delhi: Sewa Bharati Delhi organised a free eye check up and cataract operation camp on November 18. The camp was organised in
association with the Globe Capital Foundation and Dr Shroff Charity Eye Hospital Daryaganj at Khandelwal Dharmashala near Sarai Rohilla Railway Station. A total of 258 patients were checked up by senior doctors with the help of modern equipments. A total of 12 patients were operated on the same day and 219 patients were given free glasses. The camp was inaugurated by Dr Naresh of Jiwanmala Hospital. RSS Delhi Prant Sanghachalak Shri Kulbhushan Ahuja, Shri Hari Ashudani of Arogya Bharati and Sewa Bharati leaders were present on the occasion.
Swayamsevaks joins rescue works during Train Tragedy near Kanpur
Kanpur: RSS swayamsevaks rushed in for the rescue works, helped local police and NDRF staff when Indore-Patna Express Train had derailed at Pukhrayan near Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, on November 20. The swayamsevaks also helped in admitting the injured passengers at the Lala Lajpat Ray Hospital at Swarup Nagar. visited the accident site and met the injured passengers at the Hospital. Nearly, 128 people died and over 100 got injured in the tragedy. RSS has expressed deep condolences to the
passengers who lost their life in this major train tragedy.
BMS for complete abolition of Income Tax
New Delhi: Welcoming the daring step of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to demonetise Rs 500 and 1,000 notes, the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) in pre-budget consultation with the Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on November 19, demanded complete abolition of the Income Tax for employees. In a statement issued in New Delhi the BMS said, the Prime Minister in many of his meetings has said to abolish the Income Tax and now as the GST has also been passed there is no need to continue the income tax. This should be abolished from this budget only. “The bold step by Prime Minister to demonitise Rs 1,000 and 500 notes indicates that the money sanctioned by the Government in different schemes will reach to the target sections hundred per cent,” the statement said.
The BMS also demanded adequate budgetary provisions for the social security provisions like ESI, PF, pension, bonus etc announced by the Government for Anganwadi, Asha, midday meal workers so that these
workers can get rid of the injustice they have been undergoing for a long time. The BMS also reminded the Government to implement hike in minimum wage from Rs 102 to 350 per day.

Mansa: Dr Kuldip Chandra Agnihotri, Vice Chancellor of Central University of Himachal Pradesh, called upon the young scholars and researchers to conduct research on the glorious history of Khalsa. Addressing a gathering of students at the National College at Mansa, Punjab, on November 21 on the occasion of 350th Prakash Parva he said history was created by Guru Gobind Singh when he stood like a disciple before the Panch Pyare. The present generation should conduct research on it as it would prove a lighthouse for the entire world. General secretary of Sangat Sansar Society Shri Avinash Jaiswal said when some of the warriors of Guru Govind Singh returned home from the battle field their mothers, sisters and daughters scolded them for the wrong decision. Then a large number of women under the leadership Virangana Mai Bhago fought against the Mughals and won the battle. Such glorious history needs to be studied by all today.
