Kochi: RSS Sarsanghachalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat stressed the need on proper grooming of the youth as they are the future of the country. Addressing gathering of college students at Shibir in Kerala he said it is due to the wrong grooming that the youth in Kashmir pelt stone on the police. “Youths should be guided properly, for, they are the future leaders of the whole world. We have to bring them to the right path. They should not only be successful in the life but also be able to lead the meaningful life,” he said. About 1,400 students selected from 37 organisational districts of Kerala participated in the camp held from September 23 to 25. The student swayamsevaks were in the newly introduced uniform of RSS.
Later on the Sarsanghachalak went to Kollam to pay his respects to Mata Amritanandamayi Devi on the occasion of her 63rd birthday celebrations. Addressing the gathering he said Dharma is the basic element for the existence of the whole universe. The observance of kindness, truth, divinity and tapa constitutes the observance of Dharma. Amma got the first three from her tapa and now conveys them to the people. These four qualities seldom find rendezvous in a single individual. Such individuals turn the embodiment of Dharma. Felicitating Amma, Shri Bhagwat said Anma is the treasure of motherly affection.
The Sarsanghachalak also distributed the certificates for the Swachh Bharat Yajna run by the Mutt in the presence of Amma, Governor P Sathasivam, Union Ministers Shri Nithin Gadkari and Shripad Naik, etc. Before coming to Kochi Mohanji was in Thiruvananthapuram where he participated in a Bala Samghik attended by 2400 Bal Swayamsevaks on September 24.
Shri Bhagwat also attended a Sangh Shakha in Thamaram, a village in Kaladi under Thiruvananthapuram. Thamaram, which was once notorious for anti-social activities, is now a peaceful place after the RSS Shakha began there. All 600 families living there are happy now. There are 75 active swayamsevaks there. More than 200 swaymasevaks attended the shakha when Mohanji was there. They performed Suryanamaskar.

RSS Chennai Unit Nagar Karyavah attacked
Chennai: Four unidentified people kept following Shri Narahari, RSS Thiruvallikeni Nagar Karyavah in two vehicles from his residence. Narahari was going to his Office at Thiruvotriyur on October 4. In an uninhabited place near Tondairpet, he was attacked by a rod. Sharply reacting to it, Narahari tried to save himself from the miscreants, but was fractured and injured severely. While he was running to save his life, local police which was patrolling the area came to his rescue and admitted him in hospital. Miscreants ran away immediately. An FIR under section 307 was filed in the local police station. It is to be remembered that some time back, Shri Rajkumar, Bhag Karyavah was similarly attacked in Thiruvallikeni.
The workers belonging to various RSS associated organisations on September 28 staged a protest condemning the continuous attacks and murders of Hindu leaders in the State. Around 1,200 people took part in the protest. The leaders strongly condemned the undemocratic attitude and behaviour of the State Government. It is to be remembered that when a siege protest demo was organised by various outfits in front of RSS Headquarters recently, permission was granted to carry their protest demo. But on September 28 even a loudspeaker was not allowed to address the gathering and slogans were not allowed to raise by the administration.

PCI slams CPM mouthpiece over fake news on RSS
Press Council of India (PCI) slammed Deshabhimani, the Malayalam mouthpiece of CPM, Kerala, for carrying a fake news item to defame the RSS and its Sarsanghachalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat.
The sharp criticism came as a response to the complaint lodged by RSS Kerala Sah Prant Sanghachalak Advocate KK Balaram. The PCI ordered the editor of the newspaper to carry the corrected version of the news.
Deshabhimani on November 21, 2015, carried an extremely malicious news regarding the “Vikas Varg” participated by Shri Mohan Bhagwat on the November 18 and 19. Deshabhimani’s fake news read that Mohanji instructed, it is fights, attacks, clashes and hostility that RSS wants, not peace. It went on its false mongering that Mohanji instructed to attack and demolish the non-Hindu shops established near temples.
The Press Council found that the story filed by Kannur correspondent Satish Gopi was absolutely fake. The story reads that leaders of the Sangh and BJP swindled monies collected to help the families of balidanees (martyrs). This story was carried on January 2, 2016. A story filed from Thiruvananthapuram alleged that Rs 35 lakh missing from the collected money. Deshabhimani failed to submit before the Press Council any
substantial evidence to establish that the news was genuine.
The Press Council further slammed the Deshabhimani for carrying the fake news that the RSS Sarsanghachalak called for fights, attacks, clashes and hostility. They should carry the correction in five columns as they had carried the false news so. A seven column story that “RSS is in total disaster” is also false hence the paper should carry the correction in seven columns.
The enquiry committee chaired by the Press Council Chairman CMK Prasad agreed to the complaint that Deshabhimani’s action was against the basic media ethics. The Council rejected the Deshabhimani’s plea to postpone the case. Council told Deshabhimani to publish the corrections with in two weeks.
Observers opine that the anti-RSS media once again prove that they do not have serious allegations to raise against Sangh hence they move to the last resort, that is, fake and false news and utter lies.
A few years back Deshabhimani had to apologise to the senior BJP leader Advocate PS Sreedharan Pillai when he filed a defamation case for carrying a story maligning second RSS Sarsanghachalak Shri Guruji and the complainant. They lack any
ideological plank to depend on;
therefore, their only way to survive is to go for murder politics and keep on spreading utter lies through their print and electronic media.
Second Sewa Sangam in Delhi
Delhi : Second Sewa Sangam of Delhi Prant concluded at the NDMC Convention Centre on October 2. A total of 69 sewa organisations involved in various sewa activities in Delhi participated in the Sangam and shared their experiences with each other. Addressing the representatives of the sewa organisations, RSS Akhil Bharatiya Sewa Pramukh Shri Suhas Hiremath said lakhs of people are working in the sewa sector. “Everybody has service feeling. Even those who are differently-abled want to help others. We need to arise that feeling because still there are innumerable people who are unreached and need help. There are many people who still do not get meals of both ends. We have to work for all of them. Our objective is to ensure that those who are being served today should turn the server tomorrow,” he said. Organising secretary of Rashtriya Sewa Bharati Shri Rakesh Jain said the prime objective of Sewa Bharati is to help the deprived people join the mainstream.
Swami Nijamritananda from Mata Amritanandamayi Devi Mutt stressed on coordination between the sewa activities by different sewa organisations. RSS Delhi Prant Sanghachalak Shri Kulbhushan Ahuja said we all believe in service to man is service to god. Shri Anil Kansal, owner of Siddhabali Steel, also spoke on the occasion. n
Rahul told to appear before court on Nov 5th
Barpeta: The Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi appeared before the Chief Judicial Magistrate of Kamrup in Guwahati on September 29 in the criminal defamation case filed by RSS functionary Anjan Bora on April 28. The CJM court, after investigating different witnesses, asked Rahul Gandhi to appear before the Court. Rahul Gandhi was granted bail by the CJM Court, on a personal bond of Rs 50,000 and the court directed him to appear again on November 5.
The case is regarding Rahul Gandhi's comment on the Barpeta Satra. He was supposed to enter the Satra before taking part in a road show, pre-arranged nearby, but did not do so and participated in the road show directly. Later, on December 15 in New Delhi, he told the mediapersons that RSS women workers prevented him from entering the Satra. He also alleged that the RSS encouraged the local women to prevent him from entering the Satra campus. After Rahul’s comment Shri Anjan Bora filed defamation suit against him. Shri Bora said the comment tarnished the image of both the Barpeta Satra and Assamese Women.
High Court allows RSS Pathsanchalan
Chennai: Every year RSS holds annual pathsanchalan (Route March) during Vijayadashami across the nation. When Tamil Nadu RSS workers approached for local administration for permission to hold the annual pathsanchalan, the administration denied permission citing that the
public tranquility was affected; public and private properties were damaged extensively during the Hindu Munnani activist murder recently. Adding to this, local body elections would be held in the State on October 17 and 19 this month. The RSS
workers moved to the High Court for justice.
After hearing both sides, the Madras High Court allowed the RSS to take out pathsanchalans in the requested 14 places (Coimbatore, Trichy, Pollachi, Mettupalayam, Marthandam, Thackkalai, Madurai, Tenkasi, Tirunelveli, Thoothukudi etc) on November 6 or 13. The High Court brushed aside the state government’s objection that RSS pathsanchalans could not be allowed at a time when the State is scheduled to hold civic polls later this month and while the situation is uncertain after the murder of Sasikumar in Coimbatore. Allowing the plea on October 3, the single judge bench of the High Court said the RSS cadre should follow a proper dress code (full pants) during processions and should not indulge in any unlawful activities during the rally. Tribute to K Gopinath
Bengaluru: K Gopinath, a senior Sangh swayamsevak and younger brother of veteran RSS Pracharak Shri K Suryanarayan Rao, senior functionary of Akhil Bharatiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh Shri K Narahari and senior Rashtra Sevika Samiti functionary Rukminiakka, passed away on October 4. He was suffering from age related illness. He was born in 1934.
He was closely associated with the RSS since 1948 and was part of many RSS training camps, where he used to volunteer as kitchen-in-charge. He also served as State treasurer of the Jan Sangh in Karnataka. During Emergency, he was one of the closest associates of LK Advani because he was in charge of message communication to Advani, then in Bengaluru Central Jail. Gopinath had also close association with Shri Guruji and Shri Atal Behari Vajpayee. He is also known for his contributions to the construction of buildings of Janaseva Vidyakendra of Channenahalli, a School at outskirts of Bengaluru. RSS Sahsarkaryavah Shri Dattatreya Hosabale, Akhil Bharatiya Vyavastha Pramukh Shri Mangesh Bhende, Akhil Bharatiya Sah Bouddhik Pramukh Shri Mukunda CR and Kshetreeya Sanghachalak Shri V Nagaraj expressed condolences on his demise.
‘Selfless service gets social acceptance’
Solapur: RSS Sarkaryavah Shri Bhaiyaji Joshi said selfless service gets social acceptance. Addressing a function organised by Udyogvardhini Solapur on completion of 12 years, Bhaiyaji applauded the organised efforts of the Vardhini in creating women entrepreneurs and making more than 6,000 women self-reliant. “Udyogvardhini has presented a model how to ensure work to every hand. Anybody, whether literate or illiterate, can get work through the Vardhini,” he said.
Founder of the Udyogvardhini, Smt Chandrika Chauhan said merely expressing sympathy to the needy women does not work; we have to ensure work to them according to their qualification or experience. Once they have money in their hands and food to eat, only then we can preach them anything. The Udyogvardhini has being doing it for the last 12 years. Till now it has produced 1,500 women entrepreneurs and over 6,000 women have got work thorough different activities.
Earlier, a Youth Summit was organisied involving more than 1,200 school and college students. They were sensitised about the sufferings of the deprived people so that they can spare some time for them. RSS Akhil Bharatiya Sewa Pramukh Shri Suhas Hiremath and noted entrepreneur Shri Mallikarjun addressed the youth.
Sadbhavana Sammelan in Guwahati
Guwahati: Guwahati unit of Vishwa Hindu Parishad organised a Sadbhavana Sammelan at the Chaturmas venue of Acharya Mahashramanji of Terapath on September 25. Apart from over 3,000 followers of Terapath sect, more than 250 VHP workers participated in the Sammelan. Speaking on the occasion central joint organising secretary general Shri Vinayakrao Deshpande introduced the activities of the VHP. Acharya Mahashraman stressed on self-restraint life.
20th AGM of Keshav Sehkari Bank
New Delhi: Twentieth annual general body meeting of Keshav Sehkari Bank Ltd was organised on August 21 at Maharashtra Rangayan, Paharganj.
