Too much of noise is being created on  the Reserve Bank of India Governor Raghuram Rajan’s exit. Far more eminent and accomplished persons in various fields have passed on and their work has been carried on by their successors even in a better way than they did and this too shall pass. I know Rajan as a man who described the country’s Prime Minister as a one-eyed king in the land of blind; who insinuated Prime Minister  Shri Narendra Modi is Hitler. Rajan is a man who was appointed by someone else and one who retained his loyalty to that as was implicit in his public statements. It is a safe bet that all the hullabaloo is more because this issue is a convenient stick to beat the Modi government. Well if he is not given a second term, so what?

Terror in the name of God
Apropos to the article ‘ Terror in the Name of God?’ by Maria Wirth in Organiser dated July 3. In this connection I would like to say that the history of Islam is full of violence.  We have been living through this clash for the last at least 1,200 years . And now also it is being practiced. Congress is always trying to enslave Hindus  by promulgating Communal and Targeted Violence Bill. If it had been passed then Hindus would have become virtual slaves of Christians and Muslims. Fortunately Modi wave brushed it aside.

Sheer Frustration
( Trapped in his own Game, July 3);It is rightly written in the article titled ‘Trapped in his own Game’ by Nishant kr Azad that “There was a time when Kejriwal used to hold Press conferences almost every evening to expose some one. But today , he himself stands exposed for his politics of nastiness and allegations.” Ever since the Aam Aadmi Party came to power , Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has gone overboard with a series of irresponsible , undignified acts, blaming the Lt Governor and the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for his own failings. His sole aim was to achieve power , including the control of Police which is not permissible under the present constitutional parameters. Since Delhi is the national capital of India and the seat of the Union Government, this is not going to happen so soon. Hence, in his impatience , Kejriwal is indulging in willful illegal conducts.

Income Disclosure Scheme

The new Income Disclosure Scheme ( IDS) launched by the Finance Minister is a welcome development which will surely help easing out the tax burden on the citizens and recovering the huge amount of black money abound across the country. Indeed , Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley’s meeting with the industry chambers, associations , charted accountants and the professionals to discuss about four month IDS will definitely provide an opportunity to iron out the problems and allay the fear of taxmen for all concerned . It is for the first time that the Finance Minister had such meeting with the industry which is seen as a step forward in making a people friendly Income Tax  Department and bring home a renewed hope that the ossified norms , rules and structures of the age old IT Department could be changed in tandem with the global dynamics. Recently the Prime Minister Shri Modi has also asked people through ‘Mann ke Baat’  to declare their undisclosed income by September 30 to avoid punitive actions after the closure of the window of the IDS at the end of the four months. It is significant that the Government is allowing black money holders to pay the tax with a penalty of 45 per cent. Further it stated that there will be no enquiry into the sources of unaccounted income and assets provided they come under voluntary disclosure.

Kudos to ISRO
Kudos to the Indian Space Research Organisation for successful launch of 20 satellites into orbit ,aboard the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle ( PSLV-C34) from Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota. The PSLV is India’s trusted work-horse and has launched several satellites into space and we all Bharatiyas hope that in future also we would hear such good news from the Indian Research Organisation. This is an interesting development for ISRO and indeed India because over the years the space organisation has persevered against all odds—from western sanctions after nuclear tests in the 1970s that hobbled its progress, to emerge at the top of the game. And now, slowly but steadily , as commercial launches are becoming a significant revenue streams for ISRO, it is hoped that this burgeoning industry will be given the support it deserves from the government and other stakeholders.

Gou-Sammelan at Udupi
This refers to the Gou-Sammelan held in Udupi on July 4 at Udupi, Karnataka, organised by His Highness. Shri Vishveshwara Teertha Swamiji, the seer of Pejawar Mutt, Udupi. In the sammelan, the seer called all the goushalas of our country to come together and get organised . True to his words, all the goushalas should come together, be united and help each other and be a model “Cow Culture Centre” by preserving  Indegeneous breed of cows and be enterprising by making use of cow-dung and cow-urine in making industrial products and thus stand on their own legs, without relying  on the donations they receive  from the public. Besides well-to- do goushalas should provide training and counseling to farmers and open “Marketing-Outlets” for the products and by-products of cows produced by the farmers, if at all cow protection has to be achieved. Standing example is ‘Pathameda Goushala” in the State of Rajasthan . Formation of “All India Goushala Association” is the need of the hour so that all the Goushalkas  can interact with each other  for mutual benefit .In this connection, I am bringing up a”Directory” of goushalas  and gousevaks on all India basis. Interested people can email their Name, Address and Phone number for the necessary entry to : rangeshk@rediffmail.com or SMS to 09482086151.

Stern action is the need of the hour
( Victory Frustrates the Separatists, July 10);  This refers to Article “Victory Frustrates the Separatists” by Deepak Zazia in Organiser.  There is no doubt that Chief Minister  Mehbooba Mufti has set a record by winning to the Assembly. Her political voice “Those who shout Allah o Akbar with swords in their hands should not be linked to Islam” needs to make it truth. This goes to show that J&K is home for persons  who follows Islam only. We should not forget that Anupam Kher is keen to return to his homeland and he is a Pandit.   The collision Government in J&K failed to take stern steps against the separatists.  Instead the separatists are enjoying under the security cover provided by the Government.  Now the time has come for the BJP to impress upon its collision partner, Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party , that only political statements will not do. Stern action i.e. elimination of separatists from the Kashmir Valley is the need of the hour. The Pakistani flag/ISI slogans needs complete elimination and only the  trial colour flag of Bharat should be allowed to fly freely .

Consolidate the Hindus
(Rekindling Hindu Muslim Synergy, July 7); This refers to the article titled ‘ Rekindling Hindu Muslim Synergy ‘ by Virag Pachpore in Organiser. This idea and efforts are based on falsehood, and must be abandoned in the national interest. Firstly , RSS was started for Hindu consolidation , as we were the victims of excesses by the Muslims. Therefore this idea is very much opposed to the very aim of the RSS. Secondly, this experiment was done before Partition of Bharat, but it ended in the tragedy of Partition and  heavy amount of  bloodshed. Thirdly, now when Muslims have already created their separate homeland of Pakistan and Bangladesh, there is no justification to keep them in truncated Bharat , which is meant to be the homeland for the Hindus and non-Muslims. Fourthly, there is a big danger from the Muslims as they are multiplying very fast and would be in majority before the end of this century, in truncated Bharat, converting Akhand Bharat into Akhand Pakistan. It would be advisable to wind up this Muslim Rashtriya  Manch and use our energies in consolidation of the Hindu society for achieving the goal of Hindu Rashtra.
