The recent study by the Indian Institute of Technology ,Kharagpur , and the Archaeological Survey of India that has found that the Indus Valley Civilisation is older than the previously believed will give a new dimension to the study of ancient Indian history and will revolutionise our understanding of world history with crucial ramifications. It will also make the study of the rise , spread , fall and decline of the earliest civilisation all the more interesting , opening up new pathways for research , which must be explored without bias of race , ideology , caste or class.

It has been rightly said ‘As you sow so shall you reap”. This is an English proverb which means that actions or deeds of a person repay him/her in the same way. Congress Party which has got a habit of defaming the Modi government tasted the live example of this proverb. Ghaziabad District Congress women’s wing vice-president Meena Verma suffered burn injuries while trying to burn the effigy of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Meena Verma was pouring petrol on the effigy when it was being burned. Just then the wind changed its course and the flame grazed her elbow instead of burning the effigy. A Congress worker who rushed to douse the flame also suffered burn injuries. This clearly gives a message to the Congess Party that God will punish those who are trying to defame Shri Modi.

Even Britishers were better than Congress
( Who moved my Cheese, May 22); This refers to the editorial discussing crisis due to continued uprooting process of British policy of education system, being followed by the Congress leaders all these years. In fact , British had some regard for our culture and did not spoil it so much during 200 years of their rule, as has been done by Gandhi , Nehru and the Congress leaders, only in a period of about 60 years. I would talk only one issue , which nobody has ever said. There was practically no co-education during the British rule . Now it is very difficult to find any institution , meant for only boys or girls. Some time back , I talked on phone to Shri Dina Nath Batra, Chairman Shiksha Bachao Andolan on this issue .He said legal opinion would be required and was somewhat reluctant . Why legal opinion ? We would not be depriving anybody from his or her right to education . Government has full powers to frame educational policies. Even for teaching staff , there must be some obligatory moral values, apart from educational qualifications, so that teachers become role models for students. Of course it would be almost impossible to implement such educational reforms, unless truncated Bharat becomes Constitutionally a Hindu and non- Muslim country.

Request to the Bar Council of India
The Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa has framed certain rules under the provisions of the Advocates Act, 1961 for admitting a qualified person as an Advocate. The first and most important rule states that a person who is otherwise qualified to be admitted as an Advocate but is either in full or part-time service or employment or is engaged in any trade, business or profession shall not be appointed as an Advocate. Further, the second rule states that every person applying to be appointed as an Advocate shall in his application make a declaration that he is not in full or part-time service or employment and that he is not engaged in any trade, business or profession. The rule also states that in case he is in such full or part-time service or employment or is engaged in any trade, business or profession he shall in the declaration disclose full particulars thereof. However, it has come to light that one Christian Missionary Nun residing in Pune has enrolled herself as Advocate with Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa, though she is in full time service to the Church. This Christian Missionary nun has left her parental home in Kerala and has joined international Church congregation to serve the Church full time. She is also paid for her services by way of free lodging and boarding and free supply of all other articles for her daily requirements. Moreover, this Christian Missionary Nun Advocate claims in her interview that she looks at her legal work as a “Ministry” to spread “Good News” about Jesus Christ to the poor people. It is requested that the Bar Council of India may please look into the matter and decide whether the Christian Missionary Nun Advocate who is using the noble legal profession for some other goals is eligible to be enrolled as an Advocate in India.

In 1947, the Hindu population of East Pakistan ( now Bangladesh) was 33 per cent, now it is 8 per cent in Bangladesh. Hindus are harassed and killed, Hindu girls are raped , properties of Hindus are forcibly taken by the Muslims and Hindus are told to leave Bangladesh.Sheikh Hasina created Ulema League within Awami League Party which is an organisation of Islamic fundamentalists and in no way different from Jamaat-e-Islami goons. They support the killing of free thinkers. Not a single killer has been punished. Because of Islamisation of Bangladesh for 40 years , its political system is totally Islamic. Even Iran and Syria are not so accommodating of Islamic jihadies as Bangladesh.On the other hand in truncated Bharat political parties such as the Congress, JD(U), Samajwadi Party are critical of Hindus and appease the Muslims to woo Muslim votes. They maintain friendship with ISI and Pakistan government and are soft towards the separatists of Kashmir. In fact they are always ready to help the separatists to oust the nationalist Modi government.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar appears to be man of somniloquist . He never gets sound sleep because the ghost of RSS and the BJP keeps on haunting him in his sleep. His recent trumpet (clarion call) for uniting all the so-called secular minded parties to make RSS and BJP free Bharat clearly shows his perverse nature and sign of bankruptcy of his political wisdom. He is under the impression that in case all anti – Hindu elements come together, RSS and BJP would be easily wiped out from national scenario. I can only say that he is living in a fool’s paradise.

Strengthening ties
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s diplomatic skills has won vital support for India’s membership of the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG) from the US as well as from Switzerland, Morocco and Italy and has also secured membership of the Missile Technology Regime (MTCR), one of the four global nuclear regimes. The MTCR entry is expected to expedite India’s membership to the coveted NSG. Shri Modi’s communication skills has won the heart of the people across the continents. It was heartening to see the US lawmakers persistently applauding at times with standing ovation, during Shri Modi’s 45-minute address to the joint session of the US Congress. Shri Modi did not mince words in his attack on terrorism and in commending the US Congress for sending out a clear message by refusing to reward those who practice terrorism in India. India-US cooperation in various fields is the need of the hour and Shri Modi is doing a good job in that direction .

It is laudable that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi , with his oratorical skills, mesmerised the audience at the joint session of the US Congress and made India proud with his effective and efficient deliveries. Besides his oratorical skills , another important reason for Shri Modi getting repeated standing ovation is the English language which he used to deliver his speech. Had he delivered his speech in Hindi, it would have sounded Latin and Greek to his audience and his speech would have gone unappreciated.
