Haryana: Gita Manishi Mahamandaleshwar Swami Gyanananda Maharaj launched Divya Kurukshetra Mission on April 18 to make the historic city Kurukshetra as a clean city. Under the campaign, 26th day of every month will be observed as cleanliness day. Speaking at the launch function Swamiji said cleanliness drive should not be seen with political glasses. Such campaigns are must to maintain glory of the nation. He said the campaign is aimed at making Kurukshetra as a model city. He administered an oath to the people on this occasion to keep the city clean and also to join the drive. He said every citizen need to change their habit and none should do any work, which denigrates the nation. Organising secretary of VHP Shri Dinesh Chandra said the campaign would prove to be a success as it has the blessings of the saints. Mahamandaleshwar Swami Dharmadev Maharaj also spoke. Himachal Pradesh Governor Acharya Dev Vrat expressed best wishes for success of the campaign.                                                                                      

 

Documentary on Islamic terror in TN
New Delhi : A documentary on growing Islamic terror in Tamil Nadu was released in New Delhi on April 14 by senior BJP leader and former Union Minister Dr Subramanian Swamy and founder of Hindu Munnani Shri Ramagopalan. The documentary, released in Hindi, English and Tamil and produced by Hindu Munnani has been titled as “Tamil Nadu in the Eye of Jihadi Storm”. The documentary was produced with the objective of creating awareness about the growth of Islamic terror in Tamil Nadu, to seek justice to the victims of Islamic terrorism and also to persuade the Central and State governments to rise to the occasion and curb Islamic terror. More than 300 incidents of Islamic terror have been documented in the documentary.                        n                                          
                                                                                                                      

Sahasra Deep Puja on Tamil New Year

Tamil Nadu : Thousands of women including young girls attired in their best took part in the Sahasra Deep Puja organised by Sewa Bharati at Virugambakkam on Tamil New Year. Kanchi Sankaracharya Swami Vijayendra Saraswathi explained the importance of lightening of the lamps in Hinduism. Tamil Nadu Seva Bharati State President Durai Sankar presided over the function. At the end, prasadam was offered and maha aarti was done. The locals appreciated the Sewa Bharati workers for developing the dumping yard into a venue for the function.              n TS Venkatesan

 

Man making is Sangh’s prime task

Bhopal: Madhya Bharat Prant Pracharak Shri Ashok Porwal said the prime task of the Sangh is man making and it is doing its work with perfection. He was addressing a gathering of college students in Bhopal. He said recent incidents of JNU, Hyderabad or NIT Srinagar are sending wrong message among the youth, who need to be engaged in constructive activities. Shri Porwal also stressed on environment protection and water conservation. He recalled how the swayamsevaks in Bhopal some years back cleaned a pond and it has now become a          movement. Prof Anup Swarup, vice chancellor of Jagran Lake City University, said nothing is above the nation and protection of nation is everybody’s duty.                           n

Uttar Pradesh: Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said  the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has earned pride for the nation across the world in a very short duration of two years. He said his government is working hard to fulfill the aspirations of the people. Shri Khattar was at the  Chandena Koli Village in Saharanpur District of Uttar Pradesh to participate  in the wedding ceremony of  the RSS Haryana Prant Pracharak Shri Sudhir Kumar’s younger brother Yogesh Koli. Shri Khattar touched the hearts of local people by his simplicity. Governor Shri Kaptan Singh Solanki, Finance Minister Capt Abhimanyu, Himachal Pradesh Governor Acharya Dev Vrata, Union Minister of State for Agriculture Sanjeev Baliyan, Union Minister Krishnapal Gurjar, Haryana Assembly Speaker Shri Krishnapal, RSS Paschimi Uttar Pradesh Kshetra Pracharak Shri Alok Kumar, Meerut Prant Pracharak Shri Dhaniram and many other eminent personalities attended the wedding ceremony.         n Surender Singhal
