Ahmedabad: RSS Sarsanghachalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat called upon the countrymen to show in their actions what they expect in others. Addressing Varsh Pratipada Utsav in Ahmedabad on April 10 he said, “Every person should attain in his behaviour, what he would like the whole country and the whole world to attain. We don't teach by mere speeches but by example. The influence of RSS has increased and more than that, people's faith in RSS has increased and that is more important for us.”
Shri Bhagwat said the prime objective of celebrating any festival is to remember the event, which laid the foundation of that festival and imbibe the message associated with that. He said the Hindu culture believes in uniting all and think of the world welfare. “Swayamsevaks do not join the Sangh to take anything in exchange but to only give. The Sangh inspires to make a weak the strong,” he said appealing to the Swayamsevaks to show service feeling in their personal, family, social or professional conduct. “This feeling turns those who are being served today as the servers tomorrow. Whoever comes to the shakha, we do not ask him to which community he belongs. We tell them that Bharat Mata ki Jai has to be achieved, and you have to follow the traditions. We simply ask the name of the new worker for the record, and whatever name he gives, we do not object, if he is ready to follow the ideals of RSS. Our nationalism is not against anybody,” he added.
