It is especially significant since it comes in the backdrop of several Right Wing commentators and organisations defending restrictions imposed on women in certain temples or their sanctum sanctorum based on tradition. Senior RSS leader Shri Bhaiyyaji Joshi is absolutely right to observe that there is a need to change the mentality of restricting women in certain temples or areas within the temples. Traditional reasons may have been quoted to justify the restrictions, but one of the charms of Hindu tradition has been its flexibilit, its refusal to confine itself within rigid doctrines. The time has therefore come to re-visit these beliefs and shape them in the present context.

Kudos to Organiser (The Unsung Legacy, March 20,); I congratulate Organiser for its cover story, ‘Bharat and science: The Unsung Legacy’. All articles are worth reading. However, I greatly appreciate the article “A life in search of Panacea” written by Dr Pushpa Mittra Bhargava. He has very succinctly recapitulated the achievements of Dr Yellapragda SubbaRow. It is must read for all those who are especially interested in life sciences. Dr SubbaRow’s achievements are no less than that of stature of Nobel Prize winners. Time for an encyclopedia on Bharatiya scientist Bharatiyas in general, and ‘educated’ Bharatiyas in particular suffer from an inferiority complex, and this is because they don’t know about the scientific achievements of Bharat. Time has come now to prepare an encyclopaedia on the scientific achievements of Bharat and the Bharatiya scientists like Vijay Bhatkar, S Ramanujan, Sangamagrama Madhavan, Prof Satyendra Nath Bose and many more unknown names. It would be a good project for the educationists. |
A blow to the Communists
All these years comrades have been punching much above their weight—thanks to the Congress Party and the main stream media. If we look at the track record of the communist Parties in India especially where they are in majority whether it is Kerala or West Bengal, the State is on the verge of ruins. And the least said the better about the law and order in those states. However thanks to the arrival of Bharatiya Janata Party and impact of the social media they have started crumbling.

Good Governance
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has rightly pointed out that there are two kinds of people in the world.Those who work and another who take credit for other’s work. The NDA government belongs to the first category because there is little competition within. The Prime Minister has rightly described transparency, accountability and decentralisation as the fundamentals of the NDA’s good governance. It is very unfortunate that the Congress took no lessons from these fundamentals of governance.

Adhar Card
After a long time , again we find the issue of ‘Adhar Card’ has been raised in the Parliament. Basically, every citizen of any country needs a ‘Adhar Card’ which should reveal his identity as a genuine citizen, showing his basic minimum biodata such as his name, domicile, date of birth, gender ,qualification, profession, parents’ name and other standard details of his. This should be made mandatory for every citizen of the country or else how can anyone come to know the nationality of any person in the country. And of course, it must be made biometric. These are the minimum information of an individual which must be revealed publicly for the identification of person and should not be treated as interference in one’s privacy. I feel that Adhar Card should be treated as a National Card.

NGO’s should be audited by CAG (The Evil Nexus, March 20);This refers to the report on nexus between NGOs and anti-national elements. We should get awake from our deep ignorance and slumber and protect our country from the onslaught of anti-national activities in the name of democracy and freedom of speech. The NGOs, who act against national interest have just replaced the East India Company, which successfully divided people of Bharat and laid the foundation for Partition of our country. Some of the NGOs act on behalf of foreign governments against our national welfare and interests. I wonder, how many NGOs are allowed to work in USA and other western countries. The government should make all these NGOs to work within the ambit of rule of law and not to cross Lakshman rekha. The most dangerous designs are activities of many Christian Missionaries, which convert innocent Hindus and tribal’s in the name of social emancipation. The conversion was rampant during Congress rule in Andhra Pradesh, especially when YS Rajasekhara Reddy was the Chief Minister. Due to DMK and AIADMK rule even in Tamil Nadu many were converted. For conversion, funds from various places are used to provide doles. In fact many NGOs act like agents of other countries. NGO’s should be audited by Comptroller and Auditor General of India, so that our nation is secured. The article in myopic in its approach. Many NGOs in India are established by rich people who with the help of politicians and babus loot crores of rupees for the cause of development. They have created poverty in rural areas by looting the funds. Due to poverty people adopt Christianity and Islam. If government failed in checking poverty with transparent governance half of India will get converted to other faith in the next ten years. Farmers suicide is due to majority of corrupt NGOs only. Why to beg ?
(Mulayam Singhji still has a chance to resolve Ayodhya issue, February 7); It is a pity that Shri Champat Rai , VHP General Secretary should beg favour from a traitor like Maulana Mulayam for convincing Muslims who are all as good as Pakistanis living in truncated Bharat. It is a historical fact that Muslims of undivided Bharat created their separate homeland Pakistan (including Bangladesh) in 1947 and truncated Bharat was meant to be the homeland for the Hindus and non-Muslims. Why Shri Champat Rai does not ask Shri Narendra Modi to undo the injustice done by Gandhi , Nehru and the Congress leaders and make truncated Bharat, constitutionally a homeland for the Hindus and the non-Muslims. Just as Hindus and the non-Muslims have no place in Pakistan, similarly Muslims should have no place in truncated Bharat. By doing this Shri Rai would not have to beg before traitors and the Muslims to construct Sri Ram Temple at Ayodhya. In fact the whole of Bharat will become a Ram Mandir.
