(Organiser, 7.2.2016); Kudos to Organiser for the front page story titled ‘Unravelling Mystery’ by Shri Deepak Kumar. I want to convey  my sincere thanks to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for declassification of files on Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose,  three days before 67th Republic Day of Bharat. This shows how a nationalist leader can honour nationalist sentiments and things like honesty and ethics in public domain. Netaji was deeply influenced by Swami Vivekananda and so is our Prime Minister. Let us have the patience to allow our researchers and experts to go through declassified files and the government must impress foreign governments to open up whatever they have on Netaji, which may debunk the plane crash story so assiduously cultivated by our previous dispensations. One fails to understand why all governments prior to Modiji have been so secretive on the disappearance of Netaji and therefore not inclined to open up documents. It would be a misnomer to describe Subhas as a fascist. He was a true democrat in the real sense and having seen the limitations of non-violent ideology, he embarked upon an intense struggle by cultivating friendship with the enemies of the British.

Reformation through Respectful Dialogue

(Organiser, 7.2.2016);This refers to Editorial titled ‘ Reformation through Respectful Dialogue’ in Organiser. Hindu women pray in thousands of temples all over Bharat and abroad. Only a handful  deny them entry. And this thing has been made to  a big issue nowadays thanks to our vigilant media and women organisations. Women freely enter gurudwaras and churches. But there is total bar on their entry into mosques. This fact remains to be highlighted. On January 30, the Bharatiya Muslim Mahila Aandolan filed a writ petition in the Supreme Court of India asking for lifting of this ban. The petition said that the Fundamental Rights of Muslim women granted under Article 15 etc. were being continuously violated by this denial of entry into mosques. The strange thing is that no news channel came forward to air this important news.

Why to blame BJP for everything?

In their habit of holding the BJP responsible for everything untoward, the so-called “secularists” have even gone to the extent of totally distorting the facts. Take for example, the killings of the rationalists Dabholkar and Kalburgi. The former was murdered in 2013 when the Congress and its ally the NCP were in power, both at the Centre as well as in the State.  The latter was killed in Karnataka where the Congress alone is running the affairs of the State. Still, the “secular” bandwagon is after the blood of the BJP government at the Centre, putting the entire blame on Saffron Party.

Is VISA necessary for British queen visiting Bharat?

It refers to reports about Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) in response to an RTI response subsequent to a CIC-directive quoting from website of British government that British queen does not require a British passport because British passports are issued in her name! But MEA has reportedly ignored query about requirement of Bharateeya VISA by the British queen while travelling to Bharat. RTI response has also made it clear that Both President and Prime Minister of Bharat do require VISA to go to England. It is significant that even Bharateeya passports to its citizens are issued in name of President of Bharat. Necessity of CIC-intervention for getting RTI response makes it clear that MEA felt discomfort in responding to crucial RTI queries. It makes it further clear that even after seven long decades of Bharat getting freedom from Britain, England still has superiority over Bharat in mutual relations as is also clear from British supremacy in commonwealth group of nations. Time has come that commonwealth group of nations should now be abandoned especially in presence of a wider global forum in form of United Nations Organisations. If commonwealth group of nations is to be continued, then in no case Britain should be allowed to retain any type of supremacy in the group reminding bitter days of British slavery over other nations of commonwealth group.
