(Organiser, 29.11.2015); This refers to the article ‘Bharat: A Source of Knowledge’ by Dr Satish Chander Mittal in Organiser. Brief history of pro- Islamic invasion has been mentioned, with a summery that all foreign invaders were either driven out or they blended with our culture. Very true, because they were neither Muslims nor Christians but were followers of liberal faiths. But as regards Muslim invaders, there case was different. They indulged in extreme cruelties. As a result Bharat which extended up to Afghanistan and Central Asia, called Gandhara and Kamboja Mahajanpadas of Aryavarta in ancient Buddhist literature has been reduced now to half of its original size. I have a suggestion to make in this regard. Bharat i.e. India should be renamed as Khandit Bharat, that is truncated Bharat. This will have three main advantages: Firstly : Pakistan , Muslims and the whole world would understand and get a message , that Bharat was divided by Muslims in 1947 to create their separate homeland  and thus  Pakistan  have no claim over the Khandit Bharat. Secondly: Hindus would understand that they are citizens of a country which was broken by Muslims and would be cautious while dealing with them in future. And lastly it would also create an awakening in the coming generations, that they should convert Khandit Bharat into Akhand Bharat.

Saifai Mahotsav’ at the cost basic facilities

Under the Samajvadi Party dispensation in Uttar Pradesh, an annual extravagansa, called “Saifai Mahotsav” is arranged at the birth-place of SP supremo Mulayam Singh. This year it opened on December 26 with much fanfare and lasted for 17 days concluding on January 11 after consuming more than a hundred crore of rupees. The jamboree exhibits a hidden feudalistic streak in Mulayam's mindset unbecoming of a Lohiaite. This year, when the whole of Bundelkhand is facing a severe drought, it is all the more criminal to spend lavishly on such an event. About 18 million people are in the grip of starvation. As per an NGO survey, about 19 per cent Bundelkhandis are subsisting on grass and tree leaves. Every fifth family doesn't get two square meals a day. About 40per cent people have been forced to sell their cattle. 69 per cent don’t  even get a drop of milk. Even potable water is hard to get. Thousands of people are fleeing leaving their homes and hearths behind. Amidst such a massive human calamity, how is it that the UP Government can even think of ‘Saifai Mahotsav’   ?

God’s Own Country or Godless Country

(Organiser, 15.11.15); Kudos to Organiser and to Shri Surendra Nathan for the article title ‘God’s Own Country or Godless Country?’ by M Surendra Nathan. It has very correctly hit where it hurts the most as is apparent from the quick and angry rebuttal from no less person than the Chief Minister of Kerala Shri Oommen Chandy himself. The most pertinent point about Shri Nath’s article is that it is for the first time that the suppressed, intimidated and humiliated majority Hindu community finds eloquent and loud voice in it. It is a clear measure of the level of tolerance or its absence in Kerala’s successive LDF and UDF governments that they relentlessly followed the policy of destroying Hindu interests by branding every Hindu activity as communal, parochial, narrow – minded, obscurantist etc. They never use this vocabulary for others. Now the time has come for the Kerala Hindus to defeat these forces hostile to their interests and even survival by uniting under the flag of the RSS and the BJP and the newly formed political outfit Bharat Dharma Jana Sena of V Natesan.

Mainstreaming of the Water Transport

(Organiser, 4.10.2015); This refers to the article “Mainstreaming of the Water Transport” by JP Dubey  in Organiser. The idea mooted in developing and promoting transport by sea is no doubt excellent. Firstly it can ease the road transport; secondly this mode of transport is economical and safe as compared to others. Even inland water ways can also be developed. Both passengers and cargo can be benefitted by this mode of transport. With Bharat surrounded by water on three sides this mode of transport can be used in a big way.
