Intro: Sound is used as the supreme subtle quality of universe, and its ability to control other gross forms. Human body is the grossest form of panchabhootas, and the ability of sound is the only possible one to enter the whole avaranas of body.

Learning of Bio-Plasmic Modulation Therapy (BPM) Therapy in Gurukula way is more precious than a routine course. It is not necessary to stay in one place with a master, but study from a master through his self-empowerment in a lifelong way. A learner needs to study the following five topics for better understanding.
Natyayoga
Natyayoga education based on Bharatanatyam and Natyasastra is the major important one in BPM Therapy. For therapeutic purpose it is not a dance (natya) practice. Here the person learns about various level energy movements in human body related with Karanas and Mudras. The control on hormone structure and production with the help of emotions and its conscious expressions is the major subtle part supportive for the therapy. Effect of Navarasa in various glands is supportive for general health and also for therapeutic side. Conscious expressions of emotions can make lots of impressions in various glands and the conscious efforts can support Ananda-maya kosha and Mano-maya kosha—Vijnana-maya kosha.
For a consultant, this knowledge about the body control system is necessary to decide the treatment and diagnose. BPM Therapy is not using the expression methods directly like laughing therapy or other similar methods, but the principle and control on nadees and glands are necessary for diagnosis and treatment. Combinations of mudra and karnas with perfect timing is useful to control various glands. As a preventive care method, Natyayoga based movement therapy is useful to burn extra fat and cholesterol from body in a natural way. It is helpful for preventive and posts surgery cardiac care, diabetes etc.
Music and Sound Energy Management
BPM Therapy uses three major aspects of sound energy. One is related with pancha mahabhoota sidhanta and Samaveda.
n In this method, sound is used as the supreme subtle quality of universe, and its ability to control other gross forms. Human body is the grossest form of panchabhootas, and the ability of sound is the only possible one to enter the whole avaranas of body. Tamoguna quality of akas and sound is directly connected with the satva of Vayu (air). To control pancha prana and upapranas, sound is the supreme way of approach. Here we can use sound and its rhythm with mantras and suitable vaikhari form, or through suitable instrumental support. Using perfect controlled music, we can control various prana inside the body without a conscious effort. For autism support and such cases this method seems suitable from the past experiences.

  • Ragas and Sound Control : Using various ragas is the most popular method in therapeutic side. BPM Therapy using ragas, mostly in neuro-linguistic and psycho-neurological control.
  • Forms of Sound : (Para, Pasyanthi, Madhyama and Vaikhari) : Sound (vaikhari form) coming through three different areas, and through many major neuro-linguistic conversions.

The perfect usage of vaikhari sound is helpful to make a reverse engineering effect in body. Para, Pasyanthi and Madhyama connected with the following functions of our body. Basic feeling and related emotions, awareness on the base feel with the help of manomaya-vijnanamaya kosa, socio-cultural understanding and habits. Conversion with thoughts and base language, preparation of tridosha to connect and receive the needs. Conversion with Udana vayu to make suitable linguistic output. It is just for vaikhari form and to support vocal column. The controlled usage of Vaikhari form is helpful to control the other subtle areas. Through this control, it is possible to utilise, seven notes (swaras) to connect with seven yogic chakras in the body. Seven notes and seven yogic chakras are same and the functions also perfectly mentioned in the name of swaras or chakras. For eg: swadhistana chakra is ‘Ri’ in music. ‘Ri” is Rishabh (bull), it is the symbol of reproduction. Usage, name and function of the chakra all are same.
