The intellectuals and Dharmacharyas assembled at second Hindu Sansad organised in Haridwar from April 25 to 26 drew the attention of the Hindu society to the growing menace of jihadi terrorism and stressed the need to act tough against the larger conspiracy of ‘Love Jihad’. They also demanded immediate ban on cow slaughter. The speakers expressed hope that the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi would move in right direction.

Two day Hindu Sansad in Haridwar from April 25 to 26

Jointly organised at Rishikul Government Ayurvedic College by the Virat Hindustan Sangam and Sanskratik Gaurav Sansthan, the Sansad was attended by Kashi Sumeru Peethadhishwar Jagatguru Shankaracharya Swami Narendranand Saraswati Maharaj, Shankaracharya Swami Rajrajeshwarashram Maharaj, Swami Narayan Giri Maharaj, Mahamandaleshwar Swami Achyutananda Teerth Maharaj, Mahamandaleshwar Dr Premananda Maharaj, former Union Minister Dr Subramanian Swamy, Shri BL Sharma Prem, noted Yogacharya Dr Varunveer and many other intellectuals.
Dr Subramanian Swamy said democracy in India is safe until Hindus are in majority. It is also necessary for peace in the world, as Hindu way of life is inclusive and teaches to live in harmony with the nature. On the other hand the other ways of worship promote unrest and divide the society. “The main problem with the Hindu society today is that they are confused about their life values and they blindly ape anything coming from the west. We will have to identify and recognise our strength, only then we shall be able to lead the world, which is looking at us with high hopes,” he said drawing attention to the huge population growth of Muslims i.e. 22 per cent, whereas the growth of Hindus population is hardly 1.5 per cent. He said love jihad is also the part of a larger conspiracy to increase Muslim population. He appealed to the Hindus to be vigilant against it.
Shankaracharya Swami Rajrajeshwarashram hoped that the future of both the Hindus and Bharat is safe. Therefore, he called upon the intellectuals and the saints not to create negative atmosphere and keep the morale of the people high. Mahant Swami Vinod Puri of Juna Akhara, Swami Vivekananda, Sadhvi Prachi and patron of Sanskritik Gaurav Sansthan Dr Mahesh Chandra Gupta also addressed the Sansad in different sessions. Shankaracharya Swami Rajrajeshwarashram Maharaj and Mahamandaleshwar Swami Achyutananda Teertha jointly felicitated Dr Subramanian Swamy for his outstanding services to the nation.
The main convener of the Hindu Sansad, Dr Varunveer applauded the efforts of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi towards making India a superpower. He said the way Shri Modi is acting today will definitely help India achieve her pristine glory. “The way Shri Modi is moving forward world over is sufficient to indicate that we the Indians will remain safe in the world for coming 500 to 1,000 years. He is competent enough to lead the nation and also hold our head high in the world,” he said adding that Hindus need to be offensive and not defensive for protection of their existence. BJP National Secretary Shri Shyam Jaju applauded the efforts of organising the Hindu Sansad. He stressed the need to organise such events on regular basis to introspect and also to devise future strategies.
