Report: The Secular Blame Game

Intro: Whenever there is an attack on Communist leaders or Church, some elements come out in the media blaming the nationalist organisations for the attacks without having any evidence. It happened after the killing of Dabholkar in Pune and Pansare in Kolhapur. Nobody should be allowed for such baseless media trials.

Maharashtra was again shocked with the attack on Communist party leader and rationalist Govind Pansare in Kolhapur recently. In recent time this was the second attack on the Leftist or Socialist leader in Maharashtra. One and a half year back there was an attack on anti-superstitious movement leader Narendra Dabholkar in Pune.
Both were attacked early in the morning when they were out for morning walk. Cities were different but the method same. Dabholkar was shot dead on the spot. But Govind Pansare died at Breach Candy Hospital of Mumbai after fighting for life for several days. He was a fighter and a crusader.
In both the cases attackers are untraceable till now, still so-called Reformist, Socialist and Leftist leaders are pointing fingers towards nationalists organisations for the attacks. Forget about the evidence or proof, there is not a single clue or lead which shows that the nationalists are involved in it. If there is nothing like that then why all the so-called rationalist leaders are blaming these groups?
After attack on Pansare, daughter of Dabholkar gave reaction to mediapersons that nationalist workers attacked the reformist leader. How can Mukta Dabholkar give such a baseless comment? Does she have any proof or evidence that so and so attacked Pansare and he belongs to such and such organisation? Or the nationalist attackers told Smt Mukta that they are going to attack Pansare on a specific day in the
morning?
There is another angle in Pansare’s attack. He was leading a movement against toll tax. Internal roads of Kolhapur were built by some infrastructure company. So now they collect the expenditure through toll tax. But Kolhapurkars are against the toll collection. There were huge agitations, long marches, dharnas, shut down, bandhs against toll tax.
ND Patil and comrade Govind Pansare were among the leaders who were leading the ‘No Toll Movement’. So that angle should also be considered in that attack. Maybe someone who was getting affected with no toll movement might be behind the attack on Pansare. Who knows what’s going there behind the scene. So before alleging someone everybody should think twice and take all angles in consideration. Why should these so-called rationalist leaders always blame the nationalist organisations for such attacks? From Charlie Hebdo to Govind Pansare every time with this or that reason so-called rationalists or Socialists try to frame charges against the organisations like RSS people without any proof. Why don’t these persons understand the ideology of the RSS? Sangh is not an organisation, which imparts training in violence or indulges in violence.
Unfortunately, even after one and a half year, there is no clue in Dabholkar assassination. Was that because of his movement against superstitions or his work against Khap Panchayats? Or did there was some issue related to land deal, which was about to take place in his hometown Satara?
There is nothing confirmed yet. So how come anyone blame the nationalist persons or organisations in this? Let’s wait and watch is the only option open for us.
Same is the case with Delhi church attacks. No one knows who attacked the churches. Delhi Police claim that the attacks were for theft. It has nothing to do with the Hindu-Christian disharmony. Still there was some loose comments by leaders that disharmony is increasing or everyone has right to pray or choose religion.
Is this rationalist thinking or rationalist reactions? These persons, leaders should have some patience and they should wait for official police version to come. Nobody should be trialed by media or such so-called rationalist or Socialist leaders. There is much discussion about media trial nowadays. There should also be discussion about trial done by such hippocrate leaders, who just blame nationalists without any proof. These should be discussed in print and electronic media.

PFI shows its True Colours

Intro: Popular Front of India has provoked violence and turned Shivamogga into a violent town in their so-called ‘Unity March’ while celebrating its Foundation Day in Karnataka.

February 19, 2015 was a black day for Shivamogga town, known for peace and tranquility. Popular Front of India (PFI) activists provoked violence during their so-called ‘Unity March’ on its Foundation Day which resulted in the death of two innocent people.
The PFI activists stabbed three men who were riding a bike and attacked several Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) swayamsevaks. Eyewitness says that there was no provocation for their heinous act. Vishwanath who was riding the bike, died immediately. The two pillion riders who received grievous injuries were admitted to the hospital. One of them died two days later in a local hospital. Many others were injured and massive damage was caused to several to public properties.

The Popular Front of India (PFI) has a dubious history and a violent past. The PFI was formed in November 22, 2006, when three organisations, the National Development Front (NDF) of Kerala, the Manitha Neethi Pasarai (MNP) of Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka Forum for Dignity (KFD), merged together. The PFI and the SDPI, which already have a significant following in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, have set up committees in 15 States, over the past two years, according to reports.
PFI had been growing steadily in Kerala and Karnataka, but was catapulted into the headlines after its cadres waylaid and brutally attacked and maimed TJ Joseph, a lecturer at Newman College in Moovattupuzha, a town in Ernakulum District, on July 4, 2010. Joseph’s right hand was hacked for preparing a question paper with alleged derogatory reference to Prophet Mohammad, and hence‘offending’ Muslim religious sentiments. In Jun 2011, KFD activists, part of PFI, were arrested for kidnapping and murdering two students near Mysuru.
A November 2, 2010, CNN-IBN report, citing the Intelligence Bureau (IB), showed that the Popular Front of India (PFI), a confederation of Islamic Organisations, was collaborating with the banned Islamist terrorist Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) to spread terror in the country.
On July 24, 2010, VS Achuthanandan, the Kerala’s CPI-M Chief Minister had declared that the PFI and its allies were plotting to make Kerala a “Muslim-dominated” State within 20 years. On September 6 the same year, Kerala Government informed the State High Court that investigators had obtained evidence regarding PFI’s connection with terrorist outfits such as the Hizb-ul-Mujahideen (HM), Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Al Qaeda.

Following the incidents of arson and stone pelting, prohibitory orders under Section 144 of the CRPC were clamped in the city. The district administration had declared holiday in schools and colleges until the situation returned to normal.
A local RSS functionary said that, “PFI activists all of a sudden started violent activities in Shivamogga city on February 19. They shouted slogans against RSS and also uttered cries of ‘Pakistan Zindabad’. After the violence broke out, several Swayam-sevaks and general public were attacked by PFI activists.
Video evidence of their anti-National cries during the rally was posted by several people on Facebook and Twitter.” RSS Karnataka severely condemned the unprovoked violence caused by PFI in Shivamogga. M Venkataramu, RSS Prant Sanghach-alak expressed deep condolences on the death of Vishwanath. VHP’s Shivamogga district unit had called for ‘Shivamogga Bandh’ on February 21.
Bowing to pressure from public, the police acted and arrested several PFI activists who were involved in rioting and murder in Shivamogga. The arrested are Muhammed Mushar (21), Asheed Ahmed (32), Arshad Ahmed (27), and Muhammed Hanif (43). The arrests were made on February 24. The police stated that more PFI activists are likely to be arrested in connection with the Shivamogga violence.
Considering the views of people, Karnataka Government is encouraging communal tensions in the State by banning Hindu leaders like Togadia and not taking any step on anti-national activities increasing every day.   —VSK Karnataka
