Readers’ Forum: Love Jihad and Gender Justice

(Organiser,7.9.2014); This refers to the editorial ‘ Love Jihad and Gender Justice’ and the story on Tara Sahdev on Page 14 in Organiser. It has been aptly pointed out that the” so-called intellectuals, liberationist , emancipationists and votaries of gender justice are more dangerous than the jihadi Muslim since they carry Hindu names. These dangerous people also preach that all religions teach brotherhood and there are different ways to reach the God, therefore it does not matter if one is a Hindu , Muslim or a Christian. All these phrases have been coined to hide the sins and crimes committed by the Muslims and to befool the Hindus who by their very nature are liberal and tolerant. If some leaders like Yogi Aditya Nath exposes Muslims and tells the truth, then the so-called secular tribe blames them as communal. Dr B R Ambedkar, the first Law Minister in Nehru’s government was very truthful and writes on page 325 of his book Pakistan or The Partition of India, that “Islam can never allow a true Muslim to adopt India as his motherland and regard a Hindu as his kith and kin.”

NDA-2 allocates fund for cow protection

This refers to the news item that Modi government has allocated Rs 500.00 crore for cow culture and cow protection, wherein Indian breed of cows will be fostered, developed and preserved in the name of ‘Gokul-Gram’. Perhaps this is happening for the first time in history of Indian government. The centre which will be setup in every State capital initially will be a model Cow Culture Centre making it self sustaining by generating economic resources like Sale of A2 milk, Organic manure, Vermi–Composite, Cow urine distillation, Production of electricity from gobar gas and together with sale of animal products. By this development we can ensure that cow protection will be accomplished in a big way in our country. Kudos to NDA-2 government for envisaging such a project in a country like Bharat where agriculture is the main occupation since hundreds and thousands of years.

Telugu speaking states should cooperate

Now that Telangana State has become a reality after a long and protracted struggle it is time for people in the two Telugu speaking states to bury their hatchets and work in cooperation with each other . After all they share a common political and cultural history. Though the challenges are overwhelming, these two states should make a concerted efforts to solve all contentious efforts to resolve all contentious issues like sharing of water resources, power and other assets within the frame work of law, keeping in mind the long term interest of both the sides. This will also ensure that the long struggle and great sacrifices made to create the new State do not go waste.

Kudos to Organiser

(Organiser,5.10.2014); Kudos to Organiser for bringing out an exclusive issue on’Swachh Bharat’ titled ‘Mission ( I ) (m) possible?’I like the excerpts of a Gandhiji’s article which was published way back in 1925 in Navjivan and which were reproduced in Madhu Deolekar’s article on page No. 10 of Organiser. The article is worth reading. Keep it up.

Modi calls back NRIs

While listening to Shri Narendra Modi’s speech which he gave on September 28 at Madison Square, US,in which he has called NRIs to come back to Bharat I was reminded of a Periscope news item in a Organiser issue of 1974. The news was something like this: Smt. Mangalam Srinivasan, a US based scientist on a visit to Bharat, was asked by PM Indira Gandhi to return to India for good. To which the lady was reported to have replied, “If a patriotic call goes out to the Indians settled abroad, they would respond.” It is now done, of course, we had to wait for 40 years for patriotism to take the centre stage!
