State: Like A Train, I’m Ready To Work Round The Clock

– DV Sadananda Gowda

BJP party workers and leaders of Bengaluru, North Lok Sabha Constituency of Karnataka organised a grand fecilitation at Palace Grounds to honour their leader who elevated as railway minister of the country on June 7 in Bengaluru.

Speaking on the occasion DV Sadanada Gowda, Union Minister of Railways said, “I am blessed to get a portfolio which serves all sections of people. The train works round the clock. Similarly, I have decided to work ceaselessly to upgrade Railway System in the country and serve people.” The strong belief that when a minister decides to work harder, country flourishes is driving him to work harder and smarter.
The former Chief Minister of Karnataka and the Bharatiya Janata Party candidate, Gowda won Lok Sabha seat with a huge margin of 2.29 lakh votes by defeating his rival C Narayana Swamy of the Indian National Congress. Party workers were rejoiced when he said, he will work like a soldier under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and help him to materialise his vision. As a matter of accountability, he said, soon after completing his tenure of five years, he will furnish details of all the development works he has done, so that people can judge about his sincere efforts in handling a ‘big’ portfolio.
He acknowledged the dedicated work of party workers and promised them with easy access.
“Due to blessings of people, in the last election, I won from Udupi-Chikmagalur constituency and became Chief Minister of Karnataka to serve people of State. But after winning from Bangalore North constituency this year, I have got a rare opportunity to serve the entire Nation,” he said. In order to deliver, he said he will adopt three qualities, sincerity, commitment and hard work.
Large number of women and young people were vying to shake hand with ever smiling Gowda. However, he obliged each one of them and requested them not to bring any gifts including garlands in future, as he felt it is waste of money.
