News Round-up : Prakash Kamath felicitated

Senior Sangh Pracharak Shri Prakash Kamath was felicitated for his services to Vanvasis in Ranchi on May 3. The felicitation was done by Rashtra Samvardhan Samiti. A Sangh Pracharak for decades Shri Kamath started social life from sea shore of Mangalore, Karnataka. In the year 1990, he joined the Vanvasi Sewa. Now he is Akhil Bharatiya Gram Pramukh of Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram. RSS Akhil Bharatiya Sah Pracharak Pramukh Shri Vinod Kumar, Kshetra Sanghachalak Shri Siddhinath Singh, Kalyan Ashram vice president Shri Kripa Prasad Singh and Shri Gurusharan Prasad Singh of Rashtriya Sewa Bharati were also present on the occasion.

 

$img_titleKalyan Ashram founder, Bala Saheb Deshpande was paid tribute on his death anniversary in Jashpur on April 21. People from different sections of the society paid floral tribute at the statue installed at the Kalyan Ashram headquarters.

 

 

 

Mass wedding by Sewa Bharati

$img_titleJodhpur unit of Sewa Bharati and Sudarsdhan Sewa Sansthan jointly organised a mass wedding ceremony on May 3. A total of 57 pairs belonging to different castes got married on that day. The weddings were solmenised at Adarsh Vidya Mandir. Prior to it the barat of 57 grooms was welcomed by showering flower petals.

 

Documentary making training camp for voluntary organisations

Rambhau Mahalgi Prabodhini is going to organise a two-day camp to impart training of documentary making to voluntary organisations. The camp will be organised at Prabhodini’s office at Keshav Shristhi in Mumbai from May 31 to June1. The training will be imparted in Hindi and English.
