A printed book of fact-finding report on the continuous atrocities, torture, abduction, rape, murder of Bangladesh minorities in the span of 2011-2014 in Bangladesh has been handed over to the President by Rabindra Ghosh, an advocate with the Bangladesh Minority Watch (BMW), an international Human Right organisation based in Bangladesh. Sitangshu Guha of Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Council, New York has also handed him a Memorandum of appeal urging him to protect the rights of minorities.

Fate of Syria Hangs in The Balance??

In a recent incident on April 27 in Bangladesh, BMW received information from reliable sources that some Muslim fundamentalists attacked 35 houses and one temple belonging to Hindus at Baghsitarampur in Comilla. Later, it was revealed that the attack followed after a rumour that a Facebook post had allegedly defamed Prophet Muhammad came into open. As the rumour spread among the locals, the Muslims of Baghsitarampu area started demolishing the houses and temples belonging to the religious minorities, and the Hindus in the area had no choice but to run away to save their lives.
