Pakistani Hindus join Ram Navami celebrations

16THE persecuted Pakistani Hindus who entered India in March this year in three groups joined the Ram Navami celebrations in Delhi for the first time in their life. A total of 502 Hindus, including those who had migrated in previous years, joined the celebration at historic Ramlila Maidan and considered themselves as part of the entire Hindu society. Some of them even became emotional while participating in the event. Delhi unit of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad had made arrangements for them. All the Pakistani Hindus were felicitated at the function by the VHP leaders for protecting their Hindu way of life even in the face of highly volatile circumstances. Shri Nahar Singh who provided them shelter in New Delhi, was also honoured at the function.  All the Pakistani Hindus joined the Ram Navami procession which began from Ramlila Maidan. They waived  ahead of a chariot. Demanding immediate help and citizenship for all the Pak Hindus VHP international working president Dr Pravin Togadia said the Government of Bharat should immediately take up the issue with Pakistan firmly. VHP patron Shri Ashok Singhal also attended the function and demanded that the Parliament should enact a law to pave the way for construction of a glorious Sri Ram Temple at the birth place of Sri Ram in Ayodhya.
