THE workers who recently participated in the Sarhad Ko Pranam programme were felicitated in Allahabad. These workers had gone to different borders from November 19 to 23, 2012 as part of the programme organised by the Forum for Integrity and National Security.
Addressing the workers on this occasion senior Sangh Pracharak Shri Indresh Kumar informed that 106 districts of 16 states are situated on borders, and 88 base camps were established on border for the programme. He said the holy water of more than 6000 tirthas was poured on the borders by the volunteers, and 4,00,000 raksha sutras were tied to people, animals, trees, rivers, lakes, ponds and lands of border areas. He put it on record that on November 22, 4,00,000 people formed a human chain of 74 kms length at 470 places, and 14,00,000 people all over the country put the clay of border over their head as tilak. Shri Indresh Kumar himself went to Tawang border. Shri Vimalchandr Shrivastav, former Additional Judge presided over the function.
