Three-day Prant Karyakarta Samavesha in Bagalakot

“THE nation is facing different socio-cultural, socio-political challenges. The issues like national security, economic crisis, border infiltration are a serious challenge before the nation. We have to face all these challenges to ensure national security and integrity,” said RSS Sarsanghachalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat, while addressing the three-day North Karnataka Prant Karyakarta Samavesha held at Jamakhandi, a semi urban Taluk in North Karnataka, on November 18.

Selected office bearers, who hold responsibility as Taluk Karyavah and above attended the meeting. The statewide activities of North Karnataka Prant were reviewed. The delegates also discussed important national issues. RSS Kshetra Bauddhik Pramukh Shri V Nagaraj delivered a lecture on the activities of the Sangh since inception, which favoured for a silent social transformation. A special session, Atithi Bhojan, was also arranged on November 20 in which several Ministers of Karnataka Government also participated.

Shri Mohan Bhagwat further said the RSS was involved in several activities which created social awareness amongst the countrymen. Nearly 1.5 lakh service activities are underway throughout India, where lakhs of swayamsevaks are involved in silent social transformation. He said the RSS will celebrate Swami Vivekananda’s 150th birth anniversary throughout the nation in the form of hundreds of activities. “RSS will try to carry forward the message of Swami Vivekananda to every citizen of the nation,” Shri Bhagwat said.

Kshetra Sanghachalak Shri TV Deshmukh, Prant Sanghachalak Dr Khageshan Pattanashetty, Kshetra Pracharak Shri Mangesh Bhende, Kshetra Pracharak Pramulk Shri Da Ma Ravindra, Kshetra Bauddhik Pramukh Shri V Nagaraj, Kshetra Sewa Pramukh Shri Gopal Chettiyar, Kshetra Sampark Pramukh Dr Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat, Prant Pracharak Shri Gopal, Sah Prant Pracharak Shri Shankaranand, Prant Karyavah Shri Arvind Rao Deshpande and many other senior RSS functionaries attended the conclave.
