Dharma Sanskrit Sangam organised a Buddhist Sammelan in Delhi on July 1. Addressing the gathering, the RSS National Executive Member Shri Indresh Kumar said the Buddhism shows the way to eradicate corruption, untouchability, terrorism, separatism and restore peace in the society.  He said China killed 12 lakh Buddhists to capture Tibet and the statutes of Buddha were razed in Bamiyan. RSS was in forefront to condemn these acts and demanded immediate restoration of the statutes. Former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Shri Rajnath Singh said he had resolved to install large statue of Lord Buddha in Kushinagar, but the project is still pending. He demanded the government to complete the project and develop all Buddhist pilgrimage places as international tourist spots. President of the Dharma Sanskriti Sangam Shri Ramesh Chandra Ratan also spoke on the occasion.        (FOC)
