NEWS ROUND-UP-2

Vishwa Hindu Parishad has announced to launch a nationwide movement next month against the UPA government’s decision to grant 4.5 per cent reservation to Muslims within the 27 per cent OBC quota. A grand rally, Hindu Sarvajati Mahapanchayat, will be held in Delhi on May 20 to intensify the agitation on this issue. “On April 9, the VHP distributed more than one crore pamphlets across the country to awaken the countrymen. On April 16 the VHP would hold protest rallies and dharnas at all tehsil and district levels. “The minority reservation, if gets Parliament nod, will snatch away the government jobs and educational opportunities of the OBCs,” said Dr Togadia.   (FOC)
