A two-day workers’ training camp of the Hindu Jagran Manch was organised in Gumla recently. Addressing the workers, RSS Jharkhand Prant Sanghachalak Shri Jagnath Shahi said the Hindus are facing onslaughts due to the fact that they have forgotten their glorious past. “We are the followers of Joravar Singh and Fateh Singh who despite oppression and the height of cruelty by Mughals did not agree to embrace Islam,” he said.

He said the Vanvasi culture and samskars are in danger due to growing conversion activities on the part of the missionaries. They are losing their links with water, forest, land, traditions and their ancestors. The converted Christians are garbing all the benefits earmarked for them in the government schemes. He said the church is making all efforts to propagate Christianity in Jharkhand but the followers of Sarana Sanatan Society are foiling all their game plans. “If we fail today, our coming generations will not excuse us,” he added. Many Hindu Jagran Manch leaders including Dr HP Sahu, Shri Vani Kumar Ray, Dr Vijay Raj, Shri Harimohan Badaik, Shri Pramanand and Shri Suman Kumar guided the workers during the training camp.
