Blood donation camp by ABVP Jammu?
Jammu unit of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) organised a blood donation camp on March 22 at Jammu University to pay homage to the heroes of the freedom struggle. The venue of the camp was enthralled by a large number of students, scholars and teachers of the University. The ABVP has been organising such programmes for last over 20 years to inculcate the feeling of sacrifice and nationalism among the youth.
Prof RD Sharma, Dean of Academic Affairs, University of Jammu, was the chief guest. He appreciated the initiative of ABVP for motivating the youth for social cause. Prof Raj Kumar said the youth should always be ready for sacrifices for the motherland. Dr Farooq Ahmed from Government Medical College, Jammu, was present at the camp for collecting the blood.
