New Delhi, Nov 21: A free homeopathy camp was organised by the Subhadra Nambudiri Foundation (SNF), a city-based health NGO, in association with Gayathri, a socio-cultural organisation in the I P Extension area of East Delhi.
The camp, conducted by well know city Homeopath Dr A K Gupta, was formally inaugurated by Dr Harsh Vardhan, former Delhi Health Minister.
Lauding the role of NGOs, particularly, SNF, Dr Harsh Vardhan said they play a major role in creating awareness in the society on health related issues. He said such camps would immensely help in popularising alternative medicine.
In his address, K G Suresh, Executive Trustee of the Foundation said the organisation has planned to host more such events across the city in the days to come.
Gayathri Secretary C K Paramesh, Hindustan Times Legal Editor, Satya Prakash, Dhruva Apartment RWA President C L Sharma and others also spoke on the occasion.
Delivering a lecture on a ‘Healthy Lifestyle’ organised on the occasion, Dr Gupta said the key to healthy life is moderation, regular exercises and a healthy diet.
