SENIOR Sangh activist of Andhra Pradesh M Malla Reddy died in a road accident on June 8. He was returning from Jagatiyal after attending a family function. His wife, Smt Sukanya, also died in the accident. According to reports, both of them died on the spot. Malla Reddy is survived by two sons and a daughter. His eldest son became a martyr while fighting against the Naxalites.
He was cremated in Hyderabad on June 9. Akhil Bharatiya Bauddhik Pramukh Shri Bhagaiyaji, senior Pracharak Shri Haladekar, Kshetra Sanghachalak Shri Parvatrao and many other senior Sangh workers paid tribute to the departed souls. RSS Sarsanghachalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat and Sarkaryavah Shri Bhaiyaji Joshi also expressed condolence. Born in 1939 in Karimnagar district, Mudigantti Mallaredy played a key role in anti-Emergency movement in 1977. After Emergency the then Sarsanghachalak Shri Baba Saheb Deoras appointed him as Karimnagar Zilla Sanghachalak. He became Andhra Prant Karyavah in 1984. Later, he became Dakshin Madhya Kshetra Sampark Pramukh in 2000. He was Pashchim Andhra Prant Karyakarini member since 2007.
