SINCE the day Bihar election results are out, every Tom Dick and Harry is busy making snide remarks on Hindutva and trying to prove that Bihar elections were won by the winners only due to Development and Hindutva had no role in this victory. The funniest part of this fuzzy argument is that those who say these things so emphatically have extremely short memory and poor homework which do not let them update what really is Hindutva and whom Hindus consider true Hindutva flag holders! Hanumat Shakti Jaagaran started in Bharat from August 16, 2010 – months before Bihar elections and continued all through. From cities to towns and from Tehsil centres to smaller villages – large groups of Hindus spanning across all parties gathered, gave their energy & devoted their time for this unique programme. Ayodhya verdict declaring Bhagwan Ram as the owner of His birthplace was out on October 30, 2010. Hindu psyche’ in entire Bharat got a boost that their faith was vindicated and obviously it reflected in the votes in Bihar. BJP’s seats increased from 54 to a whooping 91 (37 seats added as compared to the last election), whereas JDU’s seats increased from 86 to 115, only 27 seats increased with a meager 0.1% vote share increase for JDU. Those, whose only plank was Muslim appeasement – RJD, LJP and Congress – got washed out and those claiming to be riding on the ‘prince’ wave could got reduced to less than half! This is school mathematics which clearly shows that those who did the maximum Muslim appeasement in Bihar got wiped out – e.g. RJD, LJP and of course Congress. Those who did a bit of Muslim appeasement won for want of better option for full majority but at the same time their development + Muslim appeasement got their own seats restricted as Hindus refrained from voting for them – e.g. JDU. If only development would have got JDU to win the elections then JDU seats would have been much higher (as was projected by some over enthusiastic surveyors who survey 3000 people & claim soundness of survey results as if they had surveyed three Crore people!). Some outside leaders tom tommed about their great work for Muslim development in their states and tried to distract BJP from core Hindutva, but all this got wiped out by the grand show of energised Hindutva that was evident in Hanumat Shakti Jaagaran programmes in Bihar before elections, in celebrations after Ayodhya verdict in favour of Bhagwan Ram and of course it directly reflected on BJP seat numbers shooting up phenomenally.
Those who always love to demean Hindutva and term Hindutva as anti development and try to project after Bihar election results – Development won; Hindutva lost – must open their eyes to simple school mathematics: Whose seats went up and in what circumstances! What finally was decisive in Bihar election was Hindu vote. It showed loud and clear in the increased seats of BJP. Some may say that even they have been promoting ‘moderate’ Hindutva; how they got more seats? It is like this: There were three clear groups in this Bihar election: 1) Only Muslim appeasement: RJD, LJP and Congress 2) Muslim appeasement & development – but yet tied up with the apparently known as Hindutva party: JDU 3) Less Muslim appeasement & circumstantially energized (due to Hanumat Shakti Jaagaran programmes and Ayodhya Verdict) Hindutva: BJP. Bihar BJP’s Ravishankar Prasad, Ashwini Chaube, Kameshwar Chaupal, Nityanand Rai, Baleshwar Bharati, Sushilkumar Modi and BJP’s lakhs of grassroots supporters stood with the nationwide eternal Hindu faith that Ayodhya belongs to Bhagwan Ram and Bhagwan Ram must get His grand temple in his birthplace, were seen, heard, appreciated and obviously rewarded by Bihar’s Hindus by giving BJP many more seats (than at least JDU or Congress might have even imagined!)
This is THE clear message to Bharat and to the world from the land of Kautilya: Do not underestimate the strength of majority. Do not underestimate the faith of Hindus. When Hindus stand together, they are truly united forgetting caste and gender differences! That’s exactly what happened in Bihar this time.
An important lesson about not so important, but self-appointed important ‘prince’ should also be learnt by those who do not lose any chance to degrade Hindus. Prince Gandhi came riding on the Muslim Appeasement agenda and media showed him on prime time which only three per cent of Bharat watched; but Bihar did not care a hoot for him! Bihar is of very warm and welcoming people. If you go to them with true heart and respectfully folded hands, then they take you as one among them. But Bihar also is of Kautilya. Bihar is of intelligent, self-respecting and sensitive people. Prince went there, as if he had every knowledge of the world and all others were fools and useless- especially Hindus; he went there to please only Muslims. Bihar saw through this dirty design. Hindus in Bihar stood united and threw out such a childish politicking prince who does not even realise that in a democracy, to win elections, majority matters. And to sustain public support, respect to the nation’s eternal faith matters. Gone are the days of ‘break Hindus into castes and rule’ types. Prince failed and so did other Hindu bashers like LJP and RJD who were proud to show off Osama Bin Laden look alike in their rallies. Hindus saw through even this game and threw them out. Now, Hindus in Bihar are watching. Those who hurt Hindu faith in the garb of development have no chance there or anywhere.
If only on the development plank elections were to be won then Shanta Kumar in Himachal, Chandrababu Naidu in A.P. and Shekhawat in Rajasthan would have never lost! Development is of course a vital necessity – not just of the modern age but it was so even at the time of Mahabharat and earlier. Otherwise so many innovative scientific inventions would not have taken place in Bharat even before the world could even think of them. But those who try to malign Hindutva projecting Hindutva and development as either or, are not doing any justice to truth. It is just a wishful thinking of the few who, for their own vested interests want Hindus to drift away from their core strength – eternal faith & unity. Hindus voted united in Bihar. Caste played no role. This is the victory of the united Hindu. If the same trend continues then the day is not far away when the United Hindu democracy will rule Bharat, marching towards a grand, economically sound and eternal Hindu Rashtra!
