ABVP Ladakh unit in the service of flood victims

LADAKH unit of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) with active support of the entire State unit has continuously been working for the relief and rescue of the cloud burst victims in Leh. To meet the flood victims and to motivate the workers, the ABVP J&K State organising secretary Shri Pawan Sharma was in Ladakh from October 18 to 22. He visited four relief camps at Choglamsar, Spittuk, Scumpri and Leh Bazar. He also met 23 cloud burst affected people and attended a relief distribution function of the Sewa Bharati.

Apart from the relief activities, seven meetings took place with the students there. A total of 113 students participated in the meeting. Apart from this, he also visited the campuses and houses to meet the students and academicians. He had meeting with four college professors, one college principal and two lecturers. At another function, books were distributed among the needy students staying at government hostel at Leh. A function was also organised to celebrate the Accession Day of J&K at Government Degree College. Professor Namgyal was the chief guest.
