“A well-planned conspiracy has been hatched against Hindus in the country. A section of the government at the Centre is making all efforts to malign the image of leading nationalist organisation, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh,” said RSS Akhil Bharatiya Pracharak Pramukh, Shri Madan Das. He was addressing a dharna organised by state RSS unit at historic Phirayalal Chowk in Ranchi as part of the nationwide campaign by RSS against the political conspiracy of the Congress to frame the RSS and some of its leaders in terror activities on November 16. The dharnas in Bihar and Jharkhand had not been organised on November 10 due to Chhat Puja.

He said the RSS is not ready to be soft to any kind of terrorism whether it is jehadi, Maoism, Kashmir, north-east or in any other part of the country. “In the 85 years of its existence the RSS always followed the constitutional and democratic values. The Indira government tried to provoke it during the Emergency in 1975 but it continued to work as a responsible organisation. The present government also is trying to provoke the RSS,” he said.

Addressing the gathering, noted doctor of Jharkhand Dr Satish Midha said linking RSS with terror activities or framing its leaders in such activities is part of the Congress’ Muslim appeasement policy. “Everything is being done for the votes. They always try to prove that the RSS is anti-minorities,” he said.

Smt Asha Lakda said the anti-Hindu forces have launched a sustained campaign against Hindus, saints, temples and the Sangh. The attack on leading Hindu saints is also part of that campaign. Dr Dineshanand Goswami said the Central Government led by Congress is not taking any action against the separatists in Kashmir due to the fear of losing Muslim votes all over the country. Shri Jetha Nag said the ruling party at the Centre has no respect to the national interest and it has totally surrendered before the anti-national forces. Ranchi Vibhag Sanghachalak Shri Gyanprakash Jalan, Shri Sushil Kumar of VHP, Smt Manjusha Deshmukh, Shri Prasanna Mishra of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad and Kshetra Sanghachalak Shri Siddhinath Singh also spoke on the occasion.

After the dharna, a ‘letter of protest’ was presented to the Commissioner for Prime Minister. Workers of ABVP, VHP, BMS, BKS, Sahakar Bharati, Poorva Sainik Sewa Parishad, SJM, Arogya Bharati, Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram, Vikas Bharati, Sewa Bharati, Laghu Udyog Bharati, Vidya Bharati, BJP, Bharat Vikas Parishad, Adhivakta Parishad, Sanskar Bharati, Hindu Jagran Manch, Rashtriya Sikh Sangat etc. participated in the dharnas held at different places of the state.

Bihar
Dharnas in Bihar were organised in all districts on November 16. Addressing the gathering in Patna, noted surgeon Dr Narendra Prasad compared RSS with paras (touchstone), which makes all the people coming to its contact sona (gold). He said one cannot know the Sangh without joining it. He asked the Prime Minister to tell the nation who has been in the forefront for serving the victims whenever there are natural or man-made calamities in the country. “The service activities of the Sangh right from the Partition to Kosi flood have been appreciated by one and all,” he said.

Noted doctor Dr SN Arya said the Congress has coined the word ‘Hindu terrorism’ to woe the Muslim votes. Shri Harendra Pratap, MLC, alleged that that Congress is playing a very dirty game in the country in association with the separatists.

RSS Daxin Bihar Sanghachalak Dr Shatrughan Prasad said Congress is confusing the countrymen with the words like Hindu terrorism. Kshetra Pracharak Shri Swant Ranjan, Vibhag Pracharak Shri Rajesh Pandey, Shri DN Mathur of Bharat Vikas Parishad, state BJP president Dr CP Thakur, vice president Shri Harishankar Sharma, national joint organising secretary of Sahakar Bharati Shri Vishnu Bobare, Shri Yugal Kishor of Bharatiya Kisan Sangh, national secretary of Adhivakta Parishad Shri Pramod Sinha also spoke on the occasion. The proceedings were conducted by Shri Sanjeev Kumar.

West Bengal
Earlier, addressing a meeting in Kharagpur under Midnapore district of West Bengal Shri Madan Das said linking the RSS, Hindu organisations and the saints to terror activities is an anti-national act. He said the RSS is completely dedicated to the service of the nation and also the downtrodden. Daxin Bang Prant Karyavah Dr Tilak Ranjan Behra was also present on the occasion. Many dharnas were held in Daxin Bengal Prant in which thousands of people participated. Dharnas were staged in Kolkata at Hajara More, Shayam Bazar, etc. These dharnas were addressed by RSS National Executive Member Shrikrishna Motlag, BJP leader Shri Tathagat Roy. Central secretary of Bharatiya Kisan Sangh Shri Dinesh Kulkarni, Prant Prachar Pramukh Shri Subrato Chattopadhyaya, Shri Keshavrao Dixit, Shri Sunilpad Goswami, Shri Kanak Panigrahi of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, Shri Amitabh Chakravarti of ABVP.
